Tony came home from work. "Hi, Jeannie!"

She popeed up and hugged and kissed him. "Hi, Master! How was your day?"

"Not bad, thank you."

"I have a surprise for you."

"You do?"

"Yes. Come."

She led him to the back door. In the yard was a in ground pool. Tables and lounge chairs surrounded it.

"With summer coming on, I thought you'd like to go swimming."

"Thank you, Jeannie. Yes, a swimming pool would be very nice, now that it's getting hotter."

"How about a swim right now!"

Before he could say anything, she blinked. The next thing he knew, he was in the water-with his uniform on!

"Jeannie, I keep on telling you, stop automatically granting wishes before letting me confirm them!"

"Oh, I am sorry, Master!"

His anger subsided. "It's OK, Jeannie. No real harm done. This is nice, actually. Why don't you join me."

"All right, Master."

She kicked her slippers off. Then she did a running dive into the pool-with her clothes on! She swam over to him. They hugged and splashed each other, then they cavorted in the water together. They did this for several minute.

"This is wonderful, Jeannie."

"I used to play in the fountain with the sultan."

"Did you, Jeannie?"

"Yes, Master. He used to conduct business in the water with his clothes all wet!"

They both laughed.

"MAJOR NELSON!"

They look up: Dr. Bellows was staring at them!

They quickly got out of the pool.

"Hi, Dr. Bellows. I supposed you're wandering why I'm swimming with my clothes on.

"Yes!"

He laughed nervously. "Well, you see, I just put this pool in, and I wanted to try it out."

"With your uniform on!"

Suddenly, Jeannie spoke up. "I am to blame, Dr. Bellows."

"You, Jeannie?"

"I was being silly. I pushed Mas-er, Tony-into the pool. I am sorry.

"Well. . . It's just water, no harm done. Actually, I came to give you something."

He opened his briefcase and gave Tony a manila file.

"I meant to give this to you today. Read it at your leisure and give me your thoughts on it, in a couple days."

"Yes, sir."

"How's the water?"

"Very nice!"

"See you tomorrow."

"Bye, Dr. Bellows."

He left.

"Thanks, Jeannie."

"No problem, Master."

He put the file on one of the tables. Then he picked Jeannie up and jumped back into the pool with her!

Then he took something out of his pants pocket-his wallet!

"Oops!"

"I will take care of that, Master."

She blinked; it sailed up and went on the table, with the file.

"I have dried it for you."

"Thanks, Jeannie."

They played in the water, then got out. Jeannie blinked them dry, and they went in the house.
