As we leave that leave that horrible place, Gandalf's angry words still echo through my mind. Falling to the ground, a grief as I have never known it before consumes me and I know that I would only be hurting worse if we'd lost Merry in there instead of Gandalf...
Gandalf is dead and it's my fault!

It's my fault - I knocked the skeleton down the well that alerted every EVIL thing in that place to our presence. I just couldn't resist touching it and now we're without Gandalf! He is gone forever because of my stupidity and lack of self-control!
He is right - I am a Fool of a Took!
