Gentle flakes fluttered down from the morose heavens. The cold wind stung against her face and the little flakes melted away against the heat of porcelain skin. Another year, another winter, and still alone. Away from her friends and family, torn by evils hand, Ali had learned how to live again on this foreign soil not of her own world. Memories of lost times tortured her heart and soul, craving to return to happier times. Even back then she still fought hard every day but at least she had her two best friends. Now though, it was difficult to find peace among the silence. She knew it was wrong, to crave such simplicity. It was wrong because others reminded her how easy she had it from her SOLDIER days. Ali should be thankful for what she has now and shouldn't be so greedy while others struggled to get by. Little did they know, so little, that she struggled everyday too. Her shimmering exotic blue eyes gleamed sadly against the pale light of the day as the snow fell. Eight years had passed since she had to fight him. Take down the man she loved. All that she did was for naught. Ali saved so many lives in her time before Meteor…even now Cloud is at home with his wife, daughter and soon to be son. Aerith continued on and married Zack, who retired from SOLDIER after Sephiroth died. Sephiroth, the man that held her heart captive. The man she got to live her fangirl fantasies out with. The man… "Mommy!" Who gave her a daughter. She turned around and watched silvery hair dance against the wind, bright blue streaks interrupting the sea of grey. Eyes, the same as her father's, shone gleefully with childlike innocence. After giving birth to the child, Ali moved away from the city and its prying eyes. The people would freak out at her eyes, screaming "nightmare"…terrified she was her father despite being a newborn. "What is it baby girl?" Ali's voice soft and gentle. Her heart swelled at the sheer pride her daughter exuded and eager to show her hard work. "Look, look! I made a snow angel!" a smile came upon Ali's face as her daughter's little hand grasped onto hers and dragged her over to the indention. Confusion swept over the blue haired woman as there was a snow angel there but her daughter etched out an extra limb. "What did you draw here?" the little girl's feline like eyes glanced over the extremity she drew. "It's a wing momma. Everyone always whispers that weird name around me so I drew it." That's your father's name…Ali thoughts whirled about. "Daddy's the 'One Winged Angel', isn't he?" Ali gazed away, off into the distance. There was a deep ache in her chest. Softly words came to her. "Yes baby…daddy is the One Winged Angel."
