the tired group trudged behind Aaron as he lead them to Alexandria. Carl Grimes had an extremely hard time believing that something that perfect still existed in thiswasteland of a world. he held Judith close as she slept. her little snores made
him happy. she's the only thing that made the teen happy anymore. sometimes, he didn't even know who his dad had become.
after walking for what seemed like hours, they finally arrived to the tall gates of the safe zone. Rick eyed the walls up and down a couple times before saying anything.
"wow."
Carl chuckled a bit to himself.
"well. here it is, Alexandria." Aaron smiled.
Abraham put his hands on his hips glancing to the ground with a small grunt. he didn't know what to think. no one did.
the group was silent as they glanced from where they can see. the walls were taller than they could ever begin to imagine. they were sturdy too.
Carl looked to an old house right outside the walls and maybe only a 40 feet away from him. through the window he spotted a girl staring at him. the boy tilted his head and before he get a good look, she disappeared into the house. he shrugged it off
and stared back to the gates.
a man slowly opened the gates to a beautiful society. everyone was in awe to see such perfect houses.
