This is a fic I wrote as a request from animehpgurl. I hope you like it and sorry it took so long to write my old computer didn't have microsoft word or anything. But my new one does and i got it out as soon as I could. I hope you like it.

This is around 500 words total which made me really happy cuz i wasn't sure if I could do it. So please review what you think of it cuz i really want to know. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I stared at the girl across from me in what could only be called amazement. This was THE Kagome Higurashi, girlfriend of Inuyasha, or should I say ex-girlfriend now. Cuz that's what it sounds like from what shes telling me he apparently cheated on her, and with her twin sister no less!! Man how big of an idiot could he be!! I mean Kagome is so nice and pretty, I would give anything to go out with her. And maybe I have a chance with her after all.

"Bankotsu, are you listening to me?" she asked me, it jolted me out of my thoughts on her.

"Yeah, sorry bout that I guess I sorta spaced out a little there. But I'm listening now." I told her truthfully, something one of my best friends would not have believed me capable of doing in front of the girl I like so much.

"Oh that's ok. I was just getting a little worried, for a secong there it didn't look like you were breathing." She said with a small giggle afterwards. That giggle I knew would eventually be the end of me was all I could think as a small blush appeared on my face before I could stop it.

"Really, I didn't know you were paying that much attention to me Kagome. But I guess its not all that hard with a body and face as good as mine." I said flirting with her.

"Oh but Bankotsu you forgot about your lovely personality too. I'm sure plenty of girls have fallen for it." She said right back at me which led me to believe that she just might be flirting back. But that would be proposterous, I mean why would Kagome, the head of student council, head cheerleader plus the smartest person in our year, be flirting with me, the schools second dumbest plus I'm the schools worst behaved student. So I decided to see for myself if that is what she is doing.

"Why Kagome I do believe you are flirting with me!" I exclaimed to her with fake surprise.

She laughed a little at my comment and I thought she was just gonna pass it off but she did answer, "Why if I was flirting then why would I tell you if you ask if you start the flirting yourself and then you ask me." All her answer did was confuse me more so I did what any confused person would do.

I said "Huh?" She laughed at me again which I am going to take as a good sign but I'm not really sure.

"To put it simply Bankotsu, yes I was flirting with you. But, I'm not ready for another boyfriend yet okay."

"I get it, so when you're ready for a new and better boyfriend, come look me up, I'll wait for you." I told her with a smile. And she answered me back one with her own. And I knew at that moment that eventually I would have a girlfriend.
