(I'll probably come back and add more dialogue to this "chapter" so don't forget about it once the other chapters are up!) This was originally going to be done as a series of youtube fanvideos...But finding clips and turning people green seemed like too much of a hassle...
I'm kind of in love with this story. I mean, I've combined my two current obsessions! It's also got potential to be really funny (Can I pull it off? We'll see.)
The fic. itself is simple - a chapter for every musical number (And the scenes that go with them).
The tricky part? Balancing both canons. Which is what I plan on doing.
Enough distractions: I don't own Sonny with a Chance or Wicked, and acknowledge that none of this is really any of my own work, at all. Haha.
Tawni practiacally floated into the room despite being very upset - Maybe it was because of her light blue prom dress and sparkly tiara, which she still hadn't taken off. She swatted at the bubbles that floated around her with her elaborate plastic wand.
Nico and Grady must have broken the bubble machine again. She thought.
There were many things that contributed to Tawni's bad mood, but the most obvious was that there was an entire room of people who were not paying attention to her. If acting had taught her anything, it was how to play the part of someone else. Using her best impersonation skills, she shouted "Look, It's Tawni Hart!" Heads stared turning. Tawni smiled even though one of the bubbles had popped in her eye. That's better. She thought, smiling some more.
A reporter shoved a microphone in her face. "Tawni, are the rumors true? Is she really-?"
"Yes," Tawni replied. "Nobody in the entire studio will have to worry any longer. We are all free from the trouble she has caused us all." Where did that come from? Tawni Hart has never spoken so formally in her life...
A buzz of conversation filled the crowded cafeteria. Shock, wonder, joy. Tween weekly reporters were scanning the room for any information they could put in their magazines. Through all the noise Tawni could feel something she had only felt once before – caring for another person. She focused all her attention on it, as if she needed to absolutely prove, without a doubt, that it was there, and that she was feeling it.
A voice pulled Tawni back to reality. "Tawni, was it true you were her friend?"
"I-I don't know what you mean by friend..."
