Has anyone ever given thought as to how Honey figured out that Haruhi was a girl? Well I was rewatching the first episode again and it got me wondering so this is what I think happened, in Honey's mind at least. Oh and I have Honey refer to Haruhi as a boy at first considering he doesn't figure out until after he talks to her.

I walked up to Haru-chan who was standing talking to Kyouya-kun. As I got closer I decided to jump on him and in the process it made us both spin around. During the spinning I almost forgot what I came over to ask him but then I remembered.
"Ha-ru-chan!! Wanna eat cakes with us?" I asked hoping he would say yes.
"No, I don't really like sweets…" he said which made me really sad cause I really wanted to eat cakes with him, but oh well.
"Then, I'll lend you my bunny." I said knowing that he couldn't possibly refuse THE bunny.
"No. I don't really like bunnies either." He said and THAT really made me sad because that probably meant that Haru-chan and I have nothing in common. Which would make him really hard to talk to, and I don't have trouble talking to anyone. But, an idea suddenly came to me and I decided to put it into action.
"You don't like my bunny?" I asked him holding up my bunny making it look really cute while also doing something that noone has been able to resist, well except for Mori but well he's Mori, the puppy eyes. Haru-chan stared at the bunny for awhile and if possible it got cuter.
He leaned over and said "It's cute." And that's when I noticed because you see it wasn't my fault, Haru-chan was just leaning over at the angle where I could see down his… I mean HER shirt. But I could tell how easy it was for her to pretend to be a guy. Well actually I don't think she was pretending I just think she doesn't want to tell us. But oh well, she'll tell us all when she's ready. So I gave her my bunny to hold for a little while and then ran back to my customers and started rolling around. My last thought on the subject was when Tama-chan would realize, because I knew that everyone else would realize eventually but Tama-chan never was very bright. But that thought soon left my mind too.
