*~*~*~*~9th poem as of now. this is actually made as a sort of tribute to the FFIX character, Freya. she expresses her feelings for Fratley, the knight who she loved but he left to explore the world. she wanders off to pursue his journey and scours places around for him. i hope this poem is actually nice coz i made this when i was bored during english class (hey, you would be bored too if your teacher discussed the importance of listening throughout the entire period). FORGOTTEN through the Years

To be forgotten is worse than death

and I have done a big mistake.

The risk of losing you forever,

the risk you wanted me to take.

You promised me you'd return

but you never came back.

Your promise, you never fulfilled.

All seemed so dark and black.

Throughout countless years

I waited for your return.

I trusted you would come back.

Your promise began began to burn.

I went after your journey.

I only wished to see you soon.

I passed through many places

and traveled under the stars and the moon.

Where have you been all these years?

I ask myself every night.

For I have searched the world

not caring if what I did was right.

The look you gave when I saw you

made me rather surprised.

It was as if you knew me not

as your gaze met with my eyes.

Then later you told me

that you don't remember me.

I couldn't believe you

even though you spoke honestly.

My love, you are now gone

wandering without one memory.

I am forced to leave you.

I only hope you'll be happy.

I'll simply keep on wishing

till my wish for you comes true.

I want you to remember me.

I'll leave some clues for you.

Remember the days you spent

with the ones you knew by heart.

Remember the promise you failed to do

and then you'll get a start.

Remember the ones who truly cared.

Those who smiled and laughed with you.

Remember them and I'm sure you'll feel

that they love you and they still do.

I care so much for you.

I just want you to know this.

I loved you so much yet...

you forgot we shared our bliss.
