It was a sunny day at Beacon, with everyone running around with friends on their day off from classes. Ren and Nora were watching a movie on their first official date, Pyrrah and Jaune were working on Jaune's combat, much to his dislike, Ruby and Yang were playing in the grass with Zwei, Weiss was talking to Neptune about her family's company, and Blake was trying to read, which was not easy with Sun constantly making her laugh. Professor Ozpin was watching from the tower, smiling down on the students that he has become so attached to. Suddenly, a strange feeling came over him, a feeling that he never felt before. As if his legs had a mind of their own, he started walking towards the door.

At the same time, the group relaxing outside got the same strange feeling. Ren, who felt it first, suddenly took off running. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew that he needed to get there. "Ren? REN! Wait for us!" Nora said, looking over at the others. "Something doesn't feel…"

"You feel it too? I thought it was just lun…" Yang started to say, before the feeling rushed over her again. "Ruby, do you feel that? Ruby?"

Ruby, who already started running at full speed, knew something was wrong. Everyone started following Ruby and Ren, unsure of what was to come. As they were running, they each started thinking about how they got where they are. Ruby, feeling strength inside her that she hasn't felt since her first fight with Roman, started to tear up, unsure of why. Blake started to think about her feelings for Sun, feelings she hasn't felt since she left Adam. Weiss, who prided herself in being strong, couldn't hold back tears. Something was missing, she knew it, but she couldn't place her finger on it. Yang, for the first time since her mother disappeared, felt alone. She felt scared.

Behind them, Nora was no longer her overly happy self. It was as if her signature "boop" was missing. Pyrrah and Jaune looked at each other, unsure of what was to come. Pyrrah was holding back tears, trying to remain strong for the group while Jaune had tears streaming down his face. Neptune and Sun weren't far behind. They didn't know why, but something told them to follow. Ren, a few feet ahead of the group felt like a part of him was slowly going away. He turned to say something to Nora, but he couldn't find the words. He couldn't find any words at all. The tears started to fall as he noticed the clearing up ahead. He knew they were where they needed to be.

The clearing, which was once covered in lush green grass, was completely covered in rose petals of all different colors. In the center of all the roses was a single white pillar. Ren walked up and placed his hand on the pillar. In turn, everyone followed suit. They didn't understand what was drawing them to the pillar, but they suddenly felt more alone than they ever were.

"So children, it seems as if you were led here as well. But, do you understand why?" Professor Ozpin asked, walking up to the group. "It seems as if something connects us. Something stronger than we could ever imagine. Ren, I understand you cannot speak, but trust me. Together we will get through this and you will find the words to express how you're feeling. It might take a while, but one day. Now, let's head back. It's getting dark out."

The group leaves the pillar, but notice something. The pillar, even in the darkest of nights, looked as bright as it was in the sunlight, as if it was giving out an eternal light that could never go out. They walk away as the wind blows the petals around, showing words on the pillar. Words that meant more to the group than they would ever understand. The words…
