I thought the theme of a little girl all alone in the world would make a good poem, so here you are. It's a rather spur-of-the-moment poem. I leave it to you to figure out who the little girl from Naruto is and I'd love to hear your personal interpretations.

little girl

Little girl, did you know

That you're all alone?

Where are Mummy and Daddy –

Don't they care how I've grown?

(Oh, but they're not here, sweetheart.)

.

Little girl, are you

Afraid of the dark?

Of licking flames, or underwater –

The nasty prowling shark?

(They're everywhere, honey.)

.

Little girl, are you

Trapped in your mind?

Spun cobwebs of taunts and lies

Memories best left behind?

(Give in to the madness, baby doll.)

.

Little girl, are you

Lost in the dark and scary maze?

Mummy, Daddy, please can't you

Pull me out of this haze?

(But no one can save you, darling.)

.

Little girl, don't you

Feel much better now?

Wipe away tears from those empty eyes

The curtain's closed, give them a bow.

(You never had a chance, sweet pea.)
