Night of the blackout

Cassie was waiting for her husband and Miles to get back on the base. They all had known each other before the blackout and knew the boys wanted a night out. The power went out and so she locks the front door and waits for him to come back. He had called about twenty minutes before and told her that he was on the way home. It took them about two hours for him to get home and he wraps his arms around her.

"Are you okay?" Bass asked his wife.

"Yeah, I am fine." Cassie said to her husband. Miles watched the couple interacted with each other.

Two years later

Miles, Bass, and Cassie were still waiting to find out the new orders but they never came and so they decided to leave to go and find Miles' family.

"Whoa, Do you hear that?" Miles said as he heard the noise again and they followed where it came from it and they found there were bodies. They walked among the road to find a man getting attacked. Miles stopped it and when the man walked towards Cassie, Bass pulled a gun on the man.

"Stay away from my wife." Bass said to the man giving him a warning. He kills the man after he makes another chance on his wife. Miles and Bass help the man up that was beaten.

"Are you okay?" Miles asked the man.

"Yeah I am fine. Thank you." The man said to them as he runs aways to fight another day. The rest of them are going on with their journey.

Seven years after the blackout

Miles and Bass formed the group and got men to join their cause to protect their family and friends. Cassie gave birth to their son and now he is about eight months and is doing really good. Bass was spending some time with his wife and child when Miles came in.

"Hey there is my little nephew." Miles said picking up Eric. "How is he doing?"

"he is doing good." Bass said to his friend.

"Mind if I take him for the night to give you guys some time alone." Miles responds to him.

"That's fine." Bass said to his brother and watches them leave together. Cassie walks back into the room and sits down by her husband.

"Where did Eric go?" She asked looking around for her son.

"He's with Miles." Bass revealed to his friend. "Giving us the night to do whatever we want."

"That's sounds good." She respond to him as he leans over and they start to kiss. The next thing they knew that they were in bed making love.

A year later

Bass and Miles were celebrating his birthday when she went into labor with their second child. They did not know what they were having since the power was out. The doctor said that the baby was healthy and it was a baby girl.
