Nobody looked up as the radio changed, softly playing a waltz. The Nations were taking their Mid-Afternoon break. The meeting was being held in England this time.
Nobody noticed(or cared) when Alfred started fidgiting or tapping his foot. The assumed that, as usual, he was just being impatient.
Arthur, being the closest to Alfred, froze when he heard what the others didn't. America was humming. To a Classical Waltzing song.
He heard Alfred sigh, rising from his chair. Arthur looked up when Alfren stopped in front of him, hand held out. Arthur's eyes widened. Was he being asked to dance by Alfred?!
Alfred cleared his throat impatiently, accedentally drawing the attentin of the other nations. Arthur hesently accepted the invatation, allowing America to pull him up.
The other Nations hearts almost stopped when Alfred lead Arthur throuth an elegant waltz, with his eyes closed.
Years later Arthur woud look back on this moment with great fondness, because later that day Alfred had asked him on a date.
