Screwed Up Forever
Close you're eyes and count to ten, and maybe it'll all be a nightmare. 1, 2, 3…,10. She peeked through her eyelids. No such luck. She really had screwed up her forever. It was really over.
Rose Weasly loved cliches. And with him, she thought she had found her perfect one. But life's not a book, and not everyone gets their fairy tale ending. And maybe it was Rose's love of cliches that screwed her up in the end. Either way, she was stuck here, in the showers, wondering how everything had gotten to this point of not talking.
Close you're eyes and count to ten, she thought to herself, and maybe it'll all be a nightmare. 1, 2, 3…,10. She peeked through her eyelids. No such luck. She really had screwed up her forever. It was really over.
It started off good, they we're best friends since April 1st, 3rd year, and had become inseparable that whole year. Always sharing inside jokes and laughing. With one came the other. And it was great. It was a forever, and she loved it. And that's where it all went wrong.
Summer came, and everything was fine. They stayed up until odd hours of the night discussing everything and nothing. Never an awkward pause. But then 4th year came. And Rose was transferring. Going to school in France, with Auntie Fleur and Victorie. And then in came Lily, flirty, pretty, and popular with the boys; she was everything annoying, unpopular, funny, smart, ugly Rose wasn't.
And then Rose got jealous. Lily wasn't in her perfect forever, no, no, no. So she rewrote the script, made a few changes. But so did he. And by the time they'd stop fighting and arguing and yelling and wrecking that perfect forever, he'd changed from Rose's perfect forever guy to the type of guy who was Lily's best friend (CAN SOMEONE TELL HIM SHE'S A BITCH?).
Before he had changed, him and Rose we're perfect. They we're forever. But now, they we're a screwed up forever. Scorpius had Lily, and Rose had Albus. Which didn't count, because they'd always be together, it was a given, but Rose had to fight for her Scorpius.
But by the time (and mistakes) it took Rose to figure out how to fight for Scorpius without pissing him off (don't accuse, accept all blame- Rose decides she deserves it, the heartless bitch, ruining the best thing to happen to her), it's too late, he's changed, and she's still the same old Rose.
Rose did get through to him, though. But it was too late, and they decided they could never be that close again, that at one time their forever was infinite but now it was over. And Rose told him how happy she was he forgave her, that she agreed they could never be friends, and she was okay, but she wasn't. She had screwed up her forever, and now she was paying the price.
