They could only watch as the silver-armored knights stormed their small camp, slashing through the hardy fabrics of their tents, knocking over their laundry lines, stamping out their cooking fires, spilling the blood of the men, the women, and the children.
They tried to run, the Druids, but found that they could not escape even with their distrusted magic. The knights of Camelot had them surrounded. And leading them was Prince Arthur himself. She had heard that he was the Once and Future King, of course. But the young Druid knew his true nature.
He was the blue eyed devil.
