Summer Gettaway
Chapter one
"Come on Elena, please come?" Caroline begged Elena for the 100th time.
Elena sighed. "I don't know Caroline." Elena said while putting away her clothes that had just come from the dry cleaning.
"Would it really kill you to take a break? And besides I was thinking of inviting the whole gang you know? Like old times." Caroline said while smiling.
"Who are you thinking of inviting?" Elena asked curios to know what she was planning.
"Bonnie,Matt,you,Tyler and me. I would've asked Vicky to come but unfortunately she left her brother just like that." She said while looking out the window and sighing.
It stung Elena to have a flash back of what had happened. "If I'm coming so is Stefan." She gave her a look.
"So you're coming!" Caroline said excited.
"I don't know" Elena said while putting away the last shirt. "I have to talk to Stefan."
"Fine, fine." She said while getting up from my bed. "Call me when you have the answer." She picked up her purse and left my room.
I yelled out. "Alright!" Elena looked out the window and saw Caroline taking off with her car.
-Meanwhile at the Salvatore house…
"You're telling me you have no plans for the summer?" Damon asked Stefan.
"That's right." Stefan smiled.
"Stefan, why are you so boring? I mean I kind of get it they say that the other brother has all the qualities the older one doesn't. Makes sense if you think about it." Damon teased Stefan while grabbing a drink.
"Of course, I'm the nice one you're the bad one. I have a girlfriend.. and you have.."
"…Sluts.. I get it Stefan no need to rub it in." Damon interrupted Stefan.
"That's not what I was going to say." Stefan said.
"Ehh I know, but I wanted to make you a bit interesting." Damon said while taking a sip of his drink.
"I'm sorry brother for being the good looking awesome brother of the family." Damon put one of his hands on his brother's shoulder comforting him.
Stefan looked deep into Damon's eyes. "It's alright brother, I'll live." Stefan said when suddenly his phone rang. He looked at it and answered it. "Hello Elena."
Damon sighed. "Always ruining the brotherhood moment." and he walked up to his room.
Stefan laughed. "How are you?" he asked Elena.
"Why are you laughing?" Elena asked with curiosity.
"You know Damon."
"Oh, I wonder what he did this time."
"Nothing really, so what's up? Are you coming over tonight?"
"Can I?"
"You're always welcome."
"Good, 'cause I have some stuff to talk to you about."
"Like?"
"We'll talk when I get there ok?"
"Alright, I love you."
"I love you too." Elena said before hanging up.
-At Elena's house
"JEREMY!" Elena yelled from her room while packing a few things to go to Stefan's house.
"What?" Jeremy said while walking in Elena's room.
"I'm going over Stefan's house."
"…And?" Jeremy said.
"Just letting you know." Elena said while closing her bag.
"Whatever." Jeremy said while walking back to his room.
Elena grabbed her bag and walked downstairs a bit hurt from what Jeremy had said.
"I'm staying at Stefan's for tonight Aunt Jenna." Elena yelled out.
"Alright Elena. Have fun, but not too much!" Aunt Jenna yelled out at Elena.
She laughed. "Don't worry aunt Jenna . Call me if anything." Elena said before walking out the house and into her car.
-Meanwhile at the Salvatore house…
Damon was looking at the fireplace while drinking Whisky when Elena walked in.
"Stefan!" Elena called out while putting her bag on the floor.
"He's not here." Damon said.
Elena walked to the living room. "Where is he?"
"Out hunting, he said he would be back in a couple of hours." Damon looked at Elena and smirked.
"Great." Elena said sarcastically.
