Explosives

"Germany, come in. I repeat, Germany, come in," said a thick Asian accented voice from Ludwig's walkie-talkie.

"This is Germany. What is it Japan?"

The black haired Asian agent hit his head on the walkie-talkie. Kiku took a deep breath before replying, "I've been trying to get a hold of you for the past five minutes. Where the hell are you?"

The German man laughed roughly but quietly and whispered, "Damn Kiku, always worrying about me."

"I'm in the target's living room," Ludwig answered.

"What is taking you so long," the younger asked, clearly annoyed.

"It doesn't take just five minutes to infiltrate a house and then set up multiple bombs. It's an art. Besides, are you done setting up the cameras yet?"

"Yes, of course I'm done setting them up. Who do you take me as," Kiku growled, "Italy?"

Laughter emitted from the black haired man's walkie-talkie.

"No, of course not. Italy probably would have been distracted by a squirrel. It takes much more to distract you, like a cat!"

Kiku didn't laugh but glared at the walkie-talkie, which was innocent.

After a few minutes of not getting an answer, Ludwig spoke again, "Come on, it was a joke. Don't be angry with me, Japan."

"Just hurry up and get out here," came the angry reply.

Ten minutes passed and a blonde man appeared from inside the house. Kiku jumped from the tree he was hiding in, landing on his feet soundlessly. Ludwig opened his mouth to make another cat remark but shut it when he saw the glare Kiku was giving him. The Asian pointed to the black jeep.

"Get. In. Now."

Ludwig sighed and climbed into the driver side while Kiku climbed in on the other side. The German drove them to an abandoned cottage, quickly shuffling in there with their equipment. They sat together, knees touching, in the dark as Ludwig attempted to set his portable screen gadget up with the cameras Kiku had set up. He finally got it to work and pulled out a box-like-thing with a button on it. He smiled at Kiku before pushing the button, setting the explosives off. The cameras shook from the impact but the image could be clearly seen. The smoke created a giant grey heart. Kiku's face heated up quickly, realizing why it had taken Ludwig a long time to set up the bombs. Ludwig grinned widely as he saw Kiku's face. Black eyes met blue eyes.

"Doesthis make up for taking so long to set up," Ludwig asked.

Kiku nodded quickly. Ludwig leaned in to kiss him but he turned his head. Ludwig blinked, thoroughly confused.

"But it doesn't make up for the cat joke," he said with a playful smile.

They both laughed. Ludwig shook his head, still chuckling. He pecked the other on the lips.

"Well there, I made up for it."
