This is the original prompt for this fic:

Vincent observes that his big brother apparently has a thing for his master. He then decides if he wants Gil to pay attention to him, he'll have to treat Gil like his servant.

I could have gone really naughty with this one, but I wanted to have Gilbert stand up to his little brother who's kinda turned into a brat XD The fic turned out differently from what I imagined but I'm glad there's a little tension and angst in it. Although, I dearly adore Gil and Vince angsty fics can be the best ones for them.

Review please~ I love feedback.

There was a fine line between vying for Gilbert's attention and acting like a spoilt brat.
When Vincent had first begun to command his older brother to do various tasks the raven haired man had gone along with it. Then he'd forced Vincent to say please and thank you. However, it had irked the blonde Nightray and so Gilbert had given up. Then, things had spiraled out of control.
Vincent had begun to speak to his sibling in a tone worse than how he addressed Echo. And because Gilbert was a push over, he once again tolerated it had first. But something had finally registered to the golden eyed man. He was not his little brother's lapdog. He was the older sibling, and it was time to take charge. So when the demand, "Gil, go help Echo at the market," was uttered, a retaliation was in store.
"Vincent!" he hollered in such a stern tone of voice it made the younger man jump.
Vincent's mismatched eyes met his own and Gilbert strode angrily over to where he was sitting lazily on an ornate armchair. When he had reached his younger sibling he slammed his palms against the arms of the seat and bore his gaze unto Vincent.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" he demanded.
Vincent gulped. This wasn't what was meant to be happening. He'd had a plan; Gilbert seemed to like spending time with that Master of his because the boy had a strong personality. He'd figured the best way to attract Gilbert's attention would be to order him around like the brat did. Apparently that was not the case. Gilbert snapped his fingers forcing Vincent to focus on the glower thrown his way.
"What do you think your doing?" Gilbert asked.
Vincent fought the urge to shift nervously in his seat. "I…"
"Are being a pain in my ass, yes," Gilbert cut him off.
Vincent knew better than to even contemplate brining up his brother's Master. If he did the black haired man would only get defensive and leave. "What's gotten into you?"
Vincent smiled lightly and said, "I'm sorry. I've been rude lately."
"Yes you have," Gilbert sighed straightening up to his full height.
"I guess…I'm worried I won't see you again for a while," the blonde confided. Gilbert refrained from sighing again and patted his sibling's head.
"You'll see me," he appeased.
"When?"
"I don't know," Gilbert admitted, "Whenever you want I guess."
Vincent had a bitter taste in his mouth. His brother was such a liar. He always wanted to see Gilbert, but especially since Oz had returned he had no time for Vincent anymore. He wasn't sure if Gilbert had ever really had any time for him. Taking an opportunity of Vincent's silence Gilbert spoke up.
"If it would make you feel better, just ask me to come see you and I'll be here." But even as he said it he was walking towards the coat rack.
Vincent plastered on a fake smile as he watched the only person that mattered leave.
But that doesn't work anymore… he lamented.
