Digi-Roulette
Crack short (very very short) stories in which the Digidestined's partners are not always set in stone.
May favour the leaders of the season's more, since I'm shamelessly more interested about writing about them. Though this is mainly just to practise my non-existent writing skills so /shrug
Big head, no arms
Tai, Kari, TK and Davis gaped at the orange beam of light spilling out of where the Digiegg of Courage once sat. The light itself seemed to solidify after a few moments, turning into a blue, vaguely draconian form.
"Yes, you lifted the Digi Egg! I'm free, I'm free!" The creature cheered, jumping off the pedestal and running loops around Davis' stunned form, "I'm Gaossmon, but you can call me Gaossmon." The creature gave a cheeky grin with it's jagged mouth, coming to a stop in front of Davis.
The boy in question could only describe the new Digimon as a blue head on a pair of legs. This was rather accurate, considering while it had a pair of stubby spikes on its back, a short tail, and thick powerful legs, there was no arms or chest to speak of.
Of course Davis didn't have the tact to not mention any of his observations out loud, "Why are you a head on legs?"
A sad aura fell around Gaossmon as large crocodile tears dripped from the lizard's eyes. The other Digidestined looked on in amusement as Davis quickly tried to backpedal on his statement, somehow managing to make it worse the longer he tried.
AN: For those interested, Gaossmon's champion form would have been Coredramon Blue. His forms with the Digiegg's of Courage and Friendship were probably still Flamedramon and Raidramon. Feel free to leave a review and suggestions on other crack partner match-ups!
