She was standing in front of me, even though she was under paralysis.
An expression of shock exposed itself on Kayaba's face. But nobody could stop his attack now. Everything moved as if in slow motion as the long sword ripped its way down.
I reached out with both hands towards Asuna as she fell backwards towards me. She collapsed into my arm without a sound.
As her gaze met mine, Asuna gave a weak smile, her HP bar was depleted.
Bit by bit, Asuna's body was slowly engulfed by a golden light. The small shards of light began to collapse and scatter.
"This is just a joke right…Asuna..this…this..is…"
A single tear rolled down from Asuna's eyes, which sparkled for a single moment before disappearing her lips moved slowly, as id she was trying to speak her final words….

And with that Kayaba was gone…
The paralysis began to wear off amongst other players, Klein quickly summoned out the [divine stone of returning soul]
"Kirito, use this!"
I quickly grasped it, and clicked use… typing in the name [Asuna]… the crystal shards began to reform together… until the figure of Asuna was formed again, as Asuna slumped towards the ground, I instinctively reached out and hugged her…
"Asuna…"
