After Shirayuki came back from Lyrias, she bought her own horse and rode the horse without Mitsuhide or Obi. So she would rode her horse to a place she would find herbs there.

Zen was still the same. But he changed a little. He started to work harder for Shirayuki. He rarely sneaks out of the castle when he got works to do. He sometimes payed a visit to Shirayuki during their break.

One fine winter, Zen was on his duty at Laxdo Fort together with Shirayuki. He had to write a report to King Izana and Shirayuki would be treating the injured soldiers. It has been so long since they went to Laxdo Fort together.

One night when Shirayuki was asleep, Zen, Obi, Mitsuhide and Kiki was at the roof top discussing something. What are they discussing I wonder?

"Tomorrow morning I would like to confess to Shirayuki, again," said the prince and he took out a red box.

"Master, what's that?" Obi asked as he looked at the box Zen was holding.

The prince opened the small box. Inside was a diamond ring with a ruby on top.

"I would like to propose to Shirayuki." The three widened their eyes. It's time for Zen to confess (or propose!) to Shirayuki! (Me: Squeeee!)

"You can do it, Zen. She would definitely agree your proposal," said Mitsuhide as he patted Zen's shoulder.

"Good luck."

The Next Morning - Before Going Back

"O-Obi! Where are you dragging me?" Shirayuki was dragged by Obi while her eyes were covered by a cloth. Shirayuki was confused, 'where is Obi taking me?' she thought.

Obi uncovered the cloth as they reached to a place, sparkling snow in the sunlight, icicles were on the tree branch, a very beautiful place indeed. There stood the second prince of Clarines — Prince Zen.

"Zen.. what's.. all these..?" she asked, sitting on a bench prepared. Obi had already walked away from the two together with Kiki and Mitsuhide.

"Shirayuki.." Zen inhaled. He kneeled in one knee, holding a small box in his right hand.

"Shirayuki, all these years you have been together with me, I will always be with you. I love you, Shirayuki. Will you marry me? Becoming my beloved wife and princess of Clarines?" He was NERVOUS. But he tried his very best to propose to her. (Me : And that was.. that was.. *sniffs* SOOOO ROMANTIC! *cries of joy*)

"Zen.."

She grinned happily and nodded. "I have been waiting so long for you to propose to me. I.. I will, Zen-ouji."

Zen widened his eyes. 'She.. she agreed..' he thought. He smiled and slipped the ring to her ring finger. They both embraced in the snowy forest.

"Winter love?"

"Looks like it is."

8 Years Later...

"Yukimi nee-chan! I can't catch you anymore! Huff, huff!"

"You're so slow, Miyuki-chan!"

"Yukimi, Miyuki! Don't run in this winter day!" Shirayuki exclaimed.

"Okay, oka-san!"

"They sure are active in the winter," said the prince.

"Because they were born in the winter, I guess?" She smirked.

"Happy 9th anniversary, Shirayuki-hime." He gave her a soft, quick kiss and the two walked back into their study.
