Ruka sighed as she sat up, sighing as she glanced toward the clock, then remembering it was her day off she fell back onto the pillows.
Someone else can fix breakfast this morning, I'm not moving.
With that thought she pulled the covers tighter around her and began to drift back to sleep when someone started to bang against the door.
"Yo! Lazy butt get up!" Takeru yelled through the door and the girl groaned.
"Shut up, I'm up!" she growled as she got up and ran a comb through her short hair before she rushed out, not bothering to change out of her pajamas.
"Oh look, the zombie's up." Michiru joked as she fed her one year old daughter.
"Zip it, I was up all night." Ruka retorted as she grabbed her cup off of the sink and filled it with coffee.
"Doing what? Drinking?" Takaru asked teasingly and the short haired woman glared over at him.
"No, I was...doing something." she replied, taking a sip of the steaming beverage.
The other two housemates share a knowing glance before returning to their activities.
"Something? Would that something have something to do with your computer?" Michiru asked, not even glancing at the other woman who sighed.
"yes but what are you two, Detectives? Can I not have any privacy?" she retorted as she finished draining the cup and taking it over to the sink and washing it.
"Stop being Mr. Tough girl, we're just worried about you." Takaru stated as he offered her a piece of toast which she denied.
"Well, I don't need you to worry about me. Now I've got to go before I am late for practice!" she stated as she rushed out the door.
"She didn't have practice today did she?" Takaru asked as he watched their housemate rush down the street on her bike.
"Nope." Michiru answered as she picked up her daughter who was now refusing to eat.
"Do you think she's going for that surgery?" he asked and Michiru shrugged.
"Doubt it, she would have mentioned it." she replied.
