"Guys, I would like you to meet my friend, Tessa Gray." Magnus said. Magnus ushered a young women, about in the early 20s, to meet Jace, Clary, Isabelle, and Alec.
"Hi!" she said cheerfully. The three waved, but not Alec. He was jealous.
"Is she your ex-girlfriend?" he asked bitterly.
"No. She was just my close friend back in the Victorian Era in London." Magnus replied, giving a venomous look.
"Victorian Era? Is she a warlock too?" Isabelle asked.
"Uh, no. She's a shadowhunter. Her mom married an Eidolon demon. But she has no runes on her, because she doesn't know that she's a shadowhunter. So that will allow her to have babies. And also, her mom wore a clockwork angle, to protect her child. So basically, Tessa's an immortal shadowhunter."
"Oh..." she said.
"You were very brave, Clarissa Morgenstern. I've heard all about you, and how you saved Jonathan Christopher Herondale. I've cared so much for the Herondales." said Tessa.
"Why would you care?" asked Jace.
Magnus was about to reply, but Tessa interrupted him."I have once married a Herondale. His name was Will. He was the head Institute in London. I loved him very dearly. We watched our kids grow up, and have kids of their own. We were so happy together. But when Will died, I fled. It was too painful to see my family grow up, and die. So I went to Paris, and found Magnus, my friend there. And together, we explored the world."
"You were married to Will? William Herondale?" Jace asked.
"Yes, indeed."
"I have one of his belongings with me. It was a copy of The Tale Of The Two Cities." he stated. Tessa smiled.
"Ah, I remembered that book. I missed him dearly, now..."
"It's sad to see your love ones go..." Clary said. She nodded.
Tessa turned to Isabelle and Alec, and said,"The Lightwoods... I remember Gabriel and Gideon. Gabriel married Cecily Herondale, and Gideon married Sophia Collins, our loyal maid. You, Alec, look so much like Cecily, and Will, the siblings." She looked at Isabelle's electrum whip and the red pendant that lay on her neck, and continued,"Isabelle, did you know that the red pendant that can sense demons, was from Cecily Herondale? And did you know that the electrum whip, was from Consul Charlotte Fairchild?"
"Uh, no." Isabelle replied, looking dazed.
"Did you guys all know, that Henry Branwell, Charlotte Fairchild's husband, was the first to invent the sensor?" she asked, looking at the group.
"Nope." they all replied, all together.
"Do you still miss Jem?" asked Magnus.
"Of course I still do."
"Who's Jem?" asked Clary.
"Jem was my old fiancè, before Will married me. He turned himself into a Silent Brother, in other to live."
"What's his Silent Brother name?" she asked.
She sighed, and said,"He's Brother Zachariah." They all gasped, except for Magnus, of course.
"Brother Zachariah had propose, to you before?" Alec asked.
"Yes. We were about to get married, a week after that. But he was dying. So he had no choice but to be a Silent Brother."
"Poor, Brother Zachariah..." Isabelle said. Tessa nodded. She was trying hard not to cry, but she couldn't help it. She cried on Magnus's shoulder. He told her to go to the bathroom and clean herself up. She nodded, and left.
"Anyway, you'll see her again, someday..." Magnus said.
