"What's this?"

"Soy sace."

"And this?"

"Wasabi."

"This?"

"Espagnole."

"How about this one?"

"Teriyaki."

"And-"

"Pico De Gallo."

"Well what about-"

"Just shut up and leave me alone!!"

A whimper sounded behind me and I almost feared turning around... yet I did anyway.
Just as I had expected, there stood Yurika with puppy dog eyes, looking like she was
about ready to start crying loud enough to wake up the entire ship. I gave a short sigh
and turned back around to the wok infront of me.

For a few minutes I didn't hear so much as a peep out of Yurika (which scared the living
crap out of me) and right when I was about to turn around and apologize, the door
burst open. Before I could turn around and yell at whoever it was to leave me alone,
Yurika was already inviting them in. "Oh! Ruri!"

I turned around just in time to see Hikaru, Izumi, and Ryouko filing behind Ruri and
Yurika shutting the door to the kitchen. "Just what're you doing in the middle of the night,
in the kitchen, with Yurika?" Ryouko demanded, narrowing her eyes at me.

"Cooking." I answered truthfully, but not expecting her to buy my story.

Ryouko snorted. "A likely excuse."

"My Tenkawa, my Tenkawa, my Tenkawa!" Izumi and Hirkaru chimed in unison.

"Grrr...."

"Mine, mine, mine!"

"Stop it!"

"My Tenkawa, My Tenka-"

"SHUT UP!"

In the midst of the idiotic antics of Izumi, Hikaru, and Ryouko, Ruri managed to
make her way over to where I stood next to the burning contents of my wok.
"We need your help out on the bridge, Akito..."

I nodded and followed Ruri away from the three pilots whom where now clawing
each other apart and out onto the bridge...

---

And a certain obvious person who happend to be standing outside the kitchen at
three in the morning could be heard muttering: "Lucky bastard."

---

Ruri handed me a metal rod where we stood on the deck and pointed down at a small
black hole infront of the pilot's station which seemed to be radiating with a light of it's
own. "Here. What do you think this is?"

I jabbed the side of the hole with the rod and it immeaditly contracted and flipped over.
"I have no idea." I said, turning back to her. "Am I supposed to know what it is?"

Ruri shook her head, took the rod from me, and handed me a pair of rubber gloves. "Try
to pick it up."

I wasn't quite sure if I really wanted to do something that seemed that stupid, but I
reluctantly shoved the bottle of Shoyu (a/n: Soy Sauce, for those of you who didn't
know. ^^; ) I still had into my pocket, and took the gloves. Shortly I had slipped into
them and was bending down to pick up the stupid thing when one of the many doors
to the bridge burst open.

"Tenkawa!" A farmiliar voice screeched, "What the hell do you think you're doing?"
(This was followed by the usual 'My Tenkawa''s of the other pilots)

This surpirsed me so much that I immeaditly launched myself foward and into the hole...
which opened up to swallow me. Ruri lunged foward to grab my foot (I think anyway, it
was kind've hard to tell - I was nearly unconcious), but didn't get a good enough hold
and just ended up falling face first into the hole with me.

Before anyone could do anything, or say anything else, neither of us was there, nor was
the little black hole.

And at that exact same moment, a yard gnome was hit by a lawn mower.
