Kankri was at Cronus' hive wondering how he ended up inside Cronus' arms on his squishy human bed and cuddling back towards him. Oh right yeah...He went through his memories to this morning and replayed todays actions in his head:

"Cr9nus I d9nt understand why y9u c9nstantly drag me t9 dances and 6alls and 9ther place that inv9lve music and y9u wanting t9 take my hand and spin me ar9und. I supp9se y9u d9nt see h9w this can trigger 9thers. I kn9w f9r a fact it triggers me. I w9uld like t9 p9int an9ther fact... Are y9u listening?...Cr9nus?" Kankri snapped his fingers in front of a sleeping Cronus.

He woke up sniffing once "Vwhat?"

"Ugh. Never mind."

"So. You are gonna let me take ya to the 1980' remembrance ball? Huh?"

He sighed and closed his eyes about to start a lecture on how Cronus should pay more attention and that he had declined. Cronus stared at him for a while before putting his hands in his face and sighing regretting all his life choices. Then looking at kankri ,who was still ranting, made the worst choice ever. He leaned in and whispered hotly in his ear,

"You really need to shut up. Your vwoice is triggerin me."

"Um..." He swallowed hard but it shut him up.

"Look. One dance. Then you can leavwe. You vwont evwen havwe to say anythin to me for svweeps after one dance. Just one. That's all I vwant."

"Just...9ne? Right"

"Just one. Then its ovwer"

"9kay then. Just 9ne."

"Svweet"

"Cr9nus? Is this necessary?" He came out of his room wearing a frilly red dress and small black flats. His hair wasn't done but it looked like a poofball...a cute poofball.

"Oh yeah it is." Looks him over. 'Awe hell yes hell fucking yes.' He thought to himself.

"9kay then. Will y9u walk me in?"

"Uh sure." Holds out his arm.

Kankri took it smiling slightly. They walked in and music from the classic musical Grease was playing. Kankri recognized it as Hopelessly Devoted. He hummed along while Cronus put them in position for a slow dance. He had a cheeky smile on. They danced and danced throughout the song becoming the middle couple with the circle around them. Even the spot light watched them as the lights dimmed. Kankri was blushing a deep red. As the song came to a close Kankri looked up to his partner. "Kankri?" Cronus asked him.

"Yes? Cr9nus?"

"W9uld y9u 6e my matesprit?"

He blushed hard before hugging him tightly "Yes! 9f c9urse!"

Cronus spinned him around a minute before kissing him. "I lovwe you."

"I...I..." He touched his lips, "I l9ve y9u t99."

Ah. So that's how it happened. He looked up to face someone who was staring down at him smiling happily.

"Hey Kanny."

"Its Kankri!" He kissed him slightly.

"I know."

"Y9ur h9peless."

"Ly Devwoted!" They both burst into giggles.
