I Look like a Geek

A weird inspirational moment. My glasses gave me an idea while sitting on the bus heading home. Eiri and his glasses! Told ya it was a weird idea but I'm like that. So I don't own Gravitation – wish I did though.

"Looks like you have to get glasses Eiri." The eye doctor announced after he finished examining the blond haired teen's eyes. Sighing a little, the man wrote down something that perked the boy's interest but he ignored it. "Go out there and one of my assistants will help you pick out a frame for your lenses."

Nodding, the golden eye teen hopped out of the chair and followed his friend Tohma out of the room. Looking around, he saw frames of different styles and shapes. But which one would he go with?

"So, are ya ready?" One of the assistants asked with a smile that told him that he could trust her.

Nodding again, he followed her to a section. Looking at the selection, he liked all of them but he could only have one frame.

"Let's see here. Try these on." The woman said as she handed him a frame that was black and wide.

Putting them on, he looked in the mirror to see his blond friend cracking up but trying not to laugh. Turning around, he glared. "What's wrong with you Tohma?"

"You look like a geek! I'm sorry Eiri but it's kind of hilarious!" Tohma bursted out as he pointed a finger at the teen.

Shaking his head, he handed the frames back to the ebony haired woman. She handed him another, letting him try on. This time they were thin and black, bringing out the gold in his unusual eyes. Looking at Tohma, he nodded.

"You do look cute in them. Okay, we'll call you when they come in." The young woman said as she walked away with the piece of paper the doctor wrote on and the frames that he chose.

Once out of the building, he slammed his elbow into the older man's ribs.

"What was that for?" Tohma coughed as he looked over at the golden-eyed teen.

"For calling me a geek. I knew I looked like one, but you didn't have to rub it in." Eiri answered as he walked away from the man. Muttering under his breath, he stared up at the sky, "I looked like a geek in both of them."

Short and sweet. Poor Eiri, he feels unloved but I love him. He's one of my muses so I have to. Please review.
