Love Like Winter

Ft. Nagamasa Azai and Oichi Oda

It was a cold, breezy day in Omi. The once soft, fertile ground was not covered with think ice and snow. Two very best friends were walking thought the snow, going to Nobunaga's castle for a visit.

Oichi stumbled over a rock and fell face first into the snow. Nagamasa laughed and picked her up and brushed the snow of her face. Oichi blushed but managed to give him a happy smile.

He smiled back and looked deeply into her beautiful brown eyes Oh how he loved those eyes. Those beautiful brown orbs that could just melt everyman's heart, it just wanted to make him smile. They continued to walk.

Oichi looked to her side and noticed Nagamasa's hand. She hesitated, but grabbed his hand and held it tight. He jumped but relaxed a little and held her hand tenderly.

As they walked questions began to fly thought Oichi's mind. She wanted to ask the questions to Nagamasa.

"Do I ever cross your mind?" she asked

"No." he replied.

"Do you like me?"

" Not really."

" Do you want me?"

" No."

" Would you cry if I left?" she continued.

"No" He said.

"Would you live for me?"

" No.'

"Would you do anything for me?"

"No."

Would you choose me or your life?" she finished

"I would choose my life." Nagamasa answered.

Oichi stopped dead in her tracks. She could not believe his answers. Oichi runs away in shock and pain. Nagamasa runs after. He catches up to her and grabs her hand. He pulls her into his chest and hugs her tenderly. He says...

"The reason you never cross my mind is because you're always on my mind. The reason why I don't like you is because I love you. The reason I don't want you is because I need you. The reason I wouldn't cry if you left is because I would die if you left. The reason I wouldn't live for you is because I would die for you. The reason why I'm not willing to do anything for you is because I would do everything for you. The reason I chose my life is because you ARE my life." He finished.

Oichi could not believe her ears. She looked up at him.

"Is everything you said true?" she asked.

"Of course." Said Nagamasa as he leaned in and placed his lips on hers, kissing her passionately.
