A/N I wrote this for Catluver3's IPod Playlist Challenge. Unfortunately I was rushing a bit at the time so let me know if you spot any mistakes. Also - review! Thank you in advance :)
Ginny swallowed, taking a deep breath before charging into the room. Draco Malfoy needed to know where he stood, they might have been an item, but she'd had enough of him and his attitude. She released her breath and pushed open the door.
"Who the hell do you think you are?"
"What?" Draco stumbled backwards as the fiery red head charged forwards.
"I said: who do you think you are?"
"Uh- Draco Malfoy?"
"Don't get clever with me Malfoy!"
"I'm not! What's your problem? I haven't done anything."
"I haven't done anything." Ginny imitated him, "Don't you dare pull that one out Draco, you know exactly what you've done."
"I don't!"
She sighed, "You are honestly the most dim-witted twat I have ever had the misfortune to meet. You told Blaise that we were getting back together."
"Oh."
"Oh? OH? That's all you have to say? Well you can go and tell Blaise that we are not getting back together, Mr. Know It All.
"Oh, come on Gin, I've said sorry, you know that once you've calmed down we'll be okay darling."
"Darling," she scorned, "Don't you 'darling' me. I'm not a fool Malfoy, I know that you never mean it when you say sorry. It'll just be the same thing again next week. No. You've only got yourself to blame Draco, I'm leaving you. And I am not coming back."
"We've been together for a year, you're not going anywhere!" Draco discarded his niceties quicker than she'd ever seen him do so, "You're staying right here."
"YOU DON'T OWN ME!"
"I'll be alone."
"And whose fault is that? You shouldn't have done this to me. I told you I was leaving, so what - you just took it upon yourself to assume that you can read my mind? We might have been together a year, but honestly you don't know a thing about me Draco. What's my favourite film?"
He disregarded the question with a flick of his head, "I know that you like me." Draco's lip curled, "And I know what you like."
Ginny returned his smile, refusing to be baited, "You know nothing." Her smile faded. "You bring me down Draco. We can't do this anymore. I can't be with you. I just came to stop your assumptions."
She span on her heel, her hair flaring behind her as she headed back for the door. He grabbed her arm. "We could be brilliant. I'm a Malfoy, Ginny, think of the money, the power."
She slapped him. A sharp smack echoed around the room, "I would never be in a relationship for that. Especially not with you. Do you know how many risks I took dating you? You're a Slytherin… But I thought you were different. I thought you had a soul Draco Malfoy. My mistake."
Ginny Weasley pulled the door open, "Goodbye, Draco."
He paled, if that was possible, his face turning white against the red on his cheek – his façade fading, "Don't leave. Ginny. Please. I need you." His voice broke on the last word and Ginny had to shut her eyes tightly, to keep her control.
"You've only got yourself to blame." She whispered her own voice breaking.
The door closed behind her with a echoing bang that shook through Draco.
