ok this is my first story and this is just the beginning.

sorry its REALLY short but they probably all will be short.

i will add new chapters depending on how many reviews i get

He sat on his bed looking at the wall. Light from the rising sun entered the room from the small window. He heard birds chirping outside as he prepared himself for the upcoming day. It was the day he had been dreading for the last month. The day he was to be executed.

He was exhausted it had taken everything he had to make it through the last weeks. He heard a door open down the hall then slam close. He heard footsteps coming closer and closer. The guards stopped out side his cell and opened it. They were not armed they had no need for weapons. Every prisoner was fitted with a special caller that restricted the flow of chakra so much that they could just barely stand.

He stood up and with pride walked out the cell and down the hall. He passed the cells that his friends were in. He passed Ino, Temari, Shikamaru, Kiba, Hinata, Chouji, Neji, Tenten, Lee, and Sakura. For the last 3 years he had fought with them and because of him they were S-rank criminals. Every last one of them were given life imprisonment but he had negotiated with Lady Tsunade. He was willing to sacrifice his life so that the others would be pardoned. She agreed.

He walked out though a tunnel into the blinding light to face his executioners. The guards guided him to a pole standing by itself in front of a wall filled with bullet holes. They tied his arms around it. He looked up at the sky one last time. He was filled with peace. After years of hell it was finally over. He regretted nothing. He was willing to die for his friends and what he believed in.

His peace was broken by lady Tsunades voice

"Sasuke Uchiha, you have been sentenced to death for the murders of high ranking officials in all five Great ninja villages. Do you have any last words?"

Lady Tsunade stood on top of a platform. Next to her was Naruto sitting in a chair watching with sad understanding eyes. He knew why Sasuke did what he did and so did Lady Tsunade. But the other villages demanded that he be punished.

Sasuke looked up at her and said.

"I only ask that you keep true to your word."

Naruto stood up and said

"don't worry Sasuke she will."

"…good. Then that's all I have to say."

The guards blindfolded Sasuke as he heard the firing squad line up. He thought back to how this all had happened.
