Disclaimer: Not mine, blah, blah, blah (if you want a funny disclaimer I have a story called… Disclaimer. Yeah, I'm that original)
A/N: This is a short oneshot that doesn't take place during the Marauders Era (crazy, right?). I don't write a lot about the Golden Trio, so I hope I didn't make them OOC or anything… Also, yes, that is a Starkid reference at the end.

"No, no, no, no, no." Hermione muttered, handing Ron and Harry their parchment back. She heaved a sigh. "You've got it all wrong." She told them.
"Why?" Ron asked. "Flitwick said to explain the uses of a Lumos Duo Charm... I said it lights things up, isn't that right?" Hermione sighed again, massaging her temples.
"Give me some parchment." She muttered irritably. Ron handed her a piece of parchment and a quill. She dipped it in some ink. "Ron," she said. She drew a stick figure with a smiley face on the parchment. "This is you."
"Where's my hair?" Ron asked. Hermione rolled her eyes and added some hair. "Is that supposed to be my hair? It's a mess! It looks more like Harry's." Ron told her.
"Fine. That's Harry then, happy?!" She snapped.
"Where are my glasses, then?" Harry asked.
"And his scar?" Ron added. Hermione drew a pair of glasses and a sideways lightning bolt on the stick figure's face.
"That looks nothing like a lightning bolt!" Ron exclaimed.
"They're hard to draw, okay?!" Hermione snapped.
"Fine." Harry muttered. Hermione took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself down.
"Right, so this is you, Harry. You are going to use Lumos Duo-"
"Then where's my wand?" Harry interrupted. Hermione grit her teeth and drew a stick on the end of his arm.
"That just makes it look like his right arm is longer than his left." Ron told her. Hermione made the wand thicker.
"It still looks nothing like a wand." Harry informed her.
"Wands are hard to draw too, okay?!" Hermione exclaimed. Harry and Ron shut up. "Okay, so you are using Lumos Duo, but-"
"Lumos Duo is supposed to create a focused beam of wand light, I don't see that anywhere." Harry said. Hermione could've sworn her eye was starting to twitch. She drew another line coming from the wand.
"Is that good enough?" She asked.
"You see, something should distinguish the beam of light from any other line that you could draw... For all I know, that could be a random leg in the air, based off of how you drew my limbs." Harry informed her.
"I give up!" Hermione exclaimed, standing up and throwing the parchment on the armchair in which she had previously been seated. She then stormed off towards the Girls' dorms.
"Merlin, that looks awful." She heard Ron say as she walked.
"Yeah, Hermione can't draw." Harry agreed.
