A.N: the first four chapters are gonna be introductions to the group, I got the idea remembering the Horsemen of the Apocalypse. don't worry, nothing religious will happen. this is also a AU. you'll find out.

The Four Grimmsmen: Shadow, Age 11

Deep within the forest, a lithe and tall figure called Shadow step out of the shadows in the trees.

She wore a shirt with shorts that is black with grey foot wraps. On her face was a wooden mask resembling a Nevermore with horns covering her upper part of her head and cheeks. She changes her skin coloration from shadow black to a light tan with burn marks on her right cheek and ear with a slight scorched off of her hairline.

She drops down to the ground and sees her group: Wolfram, Delancy and Haraevin.

"Come on guys, let's move." She said.

The guys groaned.

"Guys, we have to move." She says.

"Doe, we need rest." Delancy says.

She look to her little group, seeing them tired, Wolfram taking off his sandals and checking his feet for blisters, Haraevin fixing his leather soles, Delancy was correct and she had a look of worry. She knows they have to move.

But she gave in to the group' wellbeing and her new motherly senses, "Ok, for one night, then we move."

"Doe…" Delancy wanted to say something but stops himself.

Then Wolfram points out, "Shadow. We haven't got enough food for the next 3 days." Wolfram was in charge of supplies and rationalist of the group.

"Raevin, you know where any towns are?" Shadow' relationship with her group was tense, not out of fear, but out of worry of her burning out.

Raevin looks at her and reluctantly replied, "There's one 59 meters west."

Shadow looks to left and grabs her bow and arrows and head out.

Then Delancy grabs her wrist, "Doe." Shadow hates that nickname, and Delancy knows it.

She flicks Delancy off her but fails as he keep his grip on her. "Doe, I'll do it."

She blinked in disbelief, "No, I have to do it."

He made her stare at him, "You need rest."

She countered his words, "you do too."

"You need it more than I do."

She huffs her chest out and admits, "You're right."

He slips her quiver off her and grabs her bow, "I'll get the supplies." And walks off.

Shadow walks back to the campfire, Wolfram looks surprised while Haraevin was too focused on fixing his soles.

She drop down next to Wolfram, "Hey Wolf."

Wolf looks around her, "Delancy's getting them?"

She nods to his question.

"There's a river nearby if you want to clean up."

"Nah." She answered.

She notices that Wolfram' ears are a bit drenched and assumes he already went.

"What's Haraevin-"

Then they hear a weird shout from Haraevin, "Oum bring peace to my soles! Dammit!"

They look at Haraevin who is now holding his destroyed soles.

Haraevin notices them looking at him, "What!"

Wolfram stifles his laugh, Shadow didn't, "HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA! Oum bring peace to my sol-HHAAAA!" eventually Wolfram couldn't hold it and join Shadow in her laughter.

"I hate you guys."

"Gods." Shadow exclaims while trying to stop her laughter, "I forgot about this feeling. But I can't let myself be off guard." She returns to her neutral expression.

Haraevin eventually gave up on his soles, "Wolf, you wouldn't have an extra pair of-" he promptly gets whacked by a pair of sandals. "Thanks, Wolf."

Silence consumes them for a long time with no sign of Delancy.

Haraevin finally says, "All right, Del been away for too long."

Shadow joins him, "Yeah, we got to find him."

They got up, put their masks on, and grab their handmade weapons. They went west where Delancy and the town were.

It didn't take long to discover Delancy being surrounded by a crowd of humans looking at him.

"Where did he come from?"

"Why does he have ears and a tail?"

"I thought Faunus had one."

"Stay away from it, it might be dangerous."

Delancy can't handle the crowd looking at him, "I'm not an ANIMAL to be ogle at!"

He snaps the bow in half and uses their tips to slash wildly at the humans while yelling at them.

The rest of the group ran to Delancy and Shadow tries to reason with them, "Please, we're not hurting anyone. He was frightened."

The humans understandingly stand back but one woman doesn't, "You things ought to stay away from us!"

Shadow continues her diplomatic ways, "Please, we just staying in the forest for the night."

The crowd takes her words differently.

"Did you hear that?"

"We need to find their camp before they kill us!"

"Who knows how many there are!"

"They're right in front of us!"

The crowds wails in anger as they starting surrounding the four.

"No please!" Shadow begged.

Wolfram grabs Shadow by the arm, "We need to get outta-OW!" a rock hits Wolfram' forehead.

This was the turning point for the three Faunus as blood slides down his face.

Their eyes turns red and their irises disappear. The crowd step back in fear.

Shadow head starts growing horns covering both sides of her forehead, "You dare harm our kin!"

Delancy nails curves and his tail fur sharpen, "You humans think you're better because we have animal traits."

Haraevin arms elongate and develops feather blades, "You made a huge mistake."

Wolfram' wound is filled with black liquid and their bodies emanate black smoke and is wrapped by the smokescreen they created.

They reappear with bone white armor, Grimm helmets, a cape composed entirely of black smoke and Grimm start appearing from the ground.

The Grimm attack the humans out of their negative emotions and they walk across the town, reveling in the chaos and negative emotions they created. The human screams are music to them. Men slaughtered, women killed, children breathing their last breath. Some attack the four but are casually killed.

The Grimm finish off the remaining humans and turn their direction of the four and charges at them. They summoned their weapons and kill the Grimm.

5 minutes later…

They stand lying on the ground of exhaustion, returning to their normal forms.

They look at the post-carnage they committed.

The maimed bodies of children, the ripped and chewed limbs of men and women, the burning houses and the ruined state of the town.

The others are horrified they became them again. Shadow' reaction is acceptance.

"Come on guys, time to move."

Obviously, this isn't the extend of my writing skill, this is just a short, as well as the other two chapter for the group.
