 Tough Love                                                By Caroline "My father hates me".

Trunks tried to shake the disturbing thought out of his mind, but is just wouldn't go away.

                                  The same voice in his head had been haunting him ever since he could remember

"He doesn't love you."

"No, he does love me I'm his son" he said this to himself over and over in the

privacy of his room., he didn't even believe his own words, he tried not to think

                                   about it any more, no such luck.

" He ignores you"

"He's not a bad person; he does care about me,"

" he's just too stubborn to admit it. He's scared to show his feelings "

"If he even has feelings" (I love this line! J)

"Then why did mom marry him? She must have loved him for some reason"

"She was young she didn't know any better"

" That's not true my father loves me, and he loves my mother."

Trunks clenched his fists and shut his eyes hoping the voice would go away

He's a Saiiyn, Saiiyns don't have feelings, admit it trunks he doesn't love you

Shut up! Stupid voice, what do you know!" he yelled, trunks suddenly

realized he was talking to himself. ^-^ "Oh god I'm going crazy" he mumbled,

"He abandoned you and your mother".

"Why can't you have a dad that loves you like Gohan"?

he sat up in bed walked out of his bedroom into the hall, he saw the light in the

    gravity room was still on he took a deep breath and opened the door.  in front of

     him was a big training room and in the back was a closed door leading to his father

                                    second bedroom that he used when he was training

                                                                       I'll just ask him my self.

he cautiously walked towards the door his heart pounding

(Yikes the suspense^-^! suddenly something on a table near by caught his eye.

 "Oh my god" He whispered there stood a picture of him and his family, trunks at age five with a big goofy smile across his face, his mother also smiling holding him in her arms and his father his arms around his mother's waist actually smiling for once

He has a picture of us… As on big happy family. In his training room!

" Oh god" he whispered his voiced choked by the tears running down

                                             his face. He really does cares. He loves us.
