So, first Lightclan challenge, Nines lives... Let's see how it goes...
Frogpelt looked up at the sky, his leader, and best friend Flamestar had lost her last life through bloodloss while kitting, she had three kits but only two survived.
The problem was, he was deputy, he had to become leader and take her place.
He turned to the med cat, Sandyfeather, his sister.
He knew that Sandyfeather used to be a warrior and have her own kits, they were called Fernkit and Ripplekit, now Fernpaw and Ripplepaw.
He felt a nerve over take him, what if Starclan didn't accept him because he was half kittypet? He had a clan-born mother called Murkywater, who was now in Starclan, but his father was called Thunder. So weird his father was Thunder and he was in Thunderclan...
He noticed his mate Quailstream and his kits. Sunnykit, Hollykit and Twigkit.
He sighed and looked at Sandyfeather, 'Let's go.' She said.
On the way to the moonpool, he and Sandyfeather got lost.
'Why did you assign to be a med cat? Frogpelt asked him.
'Because I love herbs!' Sandyfeather answered with, Frogpelt shook his head.
After getting lost, they finally found the way to the moonpool.
'So drink from the pool and see what happens!' Sandyfeather told him, Frogpelt nodded.
So Frogpelt drunk a few drops, he then felt sleepy and went to sleep.
He woke up and saw a glitter of stars over him in the sky.
He also saw a group of cats with stars in their pelts.
'You ready?' Murkywater asked him, he nodded.
Flamestar was up first, 'With this life, I give you Healing, use it to help a cat better then Sandyfeather.' She said, a pain struck through his body.
Once she left, the pain left his body, next up was his first apprentice. Shimmerpaw, she had drowned saving her sister Quailpaw, 'With this life I give you mentoring, although you don't really need it as you're the best mentor ever.' She told him, the pain came back, it hurt more, it must of how Thunder felt when Sandyfeather torn him apart.
Shimmerpaw padded off and disappeared.
The next cat was Silverfish, his mentor, before her untimely death saving her kits from the Thunderpath.
'With this life, I give you protection, use it to defend the kits of your clan.' She added, he thought this life wouldn't hurt, how wrong he was.
As she padded off, his former kit Rainkit came forwards. She had been born dead so she couldn't stand that well, she had to stand on her hind legs to give him a life, 'With this life!' She said in a squeaky voice, 'I give you love, use it on the other kits!' She mewed, this life didn't hurt, it felt so soft.
Next up was Murkywater, she had died from being killed 'accidently' by Spottedfoot, his cousin, he told everyone that she had tried to kill him but he had to kill her in self-defensive, but soon he learned that he killed her on purpose.
'With this life, I give you talent, use it to hunt the best!' Murkywater said before padding off.
Three more lives left, how could he survive the pain?
Next up was one of Flamestar's dead kits, the kit was born dead. She had been called Skykit.
'With this life! I give you Kindness! Use it to be nice to all cats!' She told him before rushing off.
The other kit gave him a life, she gave him Spirit.
It was time for the final life, the cat who came up was no other than Riverclan's dead leader Kinkstar, they had been best friends before her death of wounds.
'With this life, I give you pride! Use it to be the best leader you can! With this, I hail you by your new name, Frogstar!' She told him, her dark ginger fur pointing at all angels.
'Frogstar! Frogstar! Frogstar!' The whole of Starclan called.
Frogstar woke up, he and Sandyfeather walked back to appoint a new deputy.
The reign would be hard, but he would stay loyal for the whole of his lives.
