Anakin/Obi-Wan Confrontation
Part 2

I quickly drew my own blue lightsaber and ignited it. I put it into position to block Anakin's lunge just in time. Then he came at me again, this time with a sideways strike at waist level. I drew on the Force to jump above the slash, then landed and started backing away.
"Anakin, please don't do this. I don't want to fight you."
"Then why don't you just lay down your weapon and allow me to kill you. It'll be much easier that way." An evil grin appeared on his face.
"Well, then, you leave me no choice. If I'm forced to fight you, I will, much as I'll regret it. I really don't want to hurt you."
"I think I'm going to enjoy this fight, especially the end. The part where I get to watch you die before my very eyes."
How can he take such pleasure in the suffering of others, I thought to myself. But just then he lashed out at me again, with an overhead blow. I brought my lightsaber up to parry it, and then for the first time I struck back at him with a stab meant to pierce his heart.
He blocked it easily, then retaliated and lunged back at me. I spun to the left, out of the way of his lunge. I turned back to face him, and we continued fighting for several minutes.
We appeared to be equally matched in skill, but I knew I wasn't trying as hard as I could have. I didn't want to hurt my friend Anakin, my former padawan, no matter how evil he was.
But soon I realized that I had to defeat Anakin today, or at least try with all the strength in my body. If I didn't and he lived, he would cause many other people pain, and it would be my fault for not trying to stop him.
And so I called on my extra reserve of strength, which I had been holding back. I knew, with great sadness, that this extra strength would give me enough power to defeat Anakin. I knew that I would have to kill him.
In the next few minutes of fighting, I began to overtake him and push him back. But I couldn't land the crippling blow that would kill him. I tried every trick I knew, but he seemed to anticipate everything I did before I did it.
But then once when I turned to look to my right, I saw something that I might be able to use to defeat him. There was a pit of lava in the ground, obviously runoff from that volcano over there. Maybe if I could start to push him towards it, I could trick him into falling into it or use it in some other way to my advantage.
So I slowly made my way towards the pit, bringing Anakin along with me. When we got near enough to it, I started trying to push him towards the edge of the pit. But he seemed to know what I was trying to do, and he moved away from the edge.
So, maybe it wasn't such a good idea. But I still had one more trick up my sleeve. I ran forward and called on the Force to jump over the pit, landing on the other side. Anakin immediately did the same thing, too late realizing his mistake.
He seemed to stop in midair, and start falling. I had erected a Force wall in the air over the pit, and Anakin had slammed into it. I watched, horrified, as my friend sank into the lava.
