Part fifteen of my 100 Themes Challenge is Silence. Sshhhh~
I always associate silence with something to do with music, so it wasn't difficult to choose Neva Beat as the source of this story.
Chariku is the main character from my shojou manga, Neva Beat.
...Don't really need much info aside that(:
That was why Chariku wanted to play guitar in the first place. He hated silence.
It was too still. And yet he treated it as every musician did- as a canvas. How could he energise the motionless passage of time into something that expanded to become loud and brash and fun or slow and quiet and soulful?
He found great enjoyment in this, no matter what the case.
But it was hard to play a tune neccessarily.
Something that was so predictable and contrived and lacking evidently in spontanaiety and originality.
Yet, by becoming hypocritical, he foundhe could play his way into the hearts of people with his music. So why should there be reason to complain? As long as he saw it as an act of spontantaeity, why shouldn't anyone else?
