there were ince three brothers who were traveling along a lonely road at twilight.

It took a while but in time, the brothers reached a river to deep to wade through and too dangerous to swim brothers sat and wondered a while, thinking of ways to get one brother names Harry thought of something very usefull. He thought of magic, all three brothers were trained in the arts of they simply waived their wands and made a bridge appear across the treacherous waters below. The brothers were amazed that their power could do so much if they just used it all called for a wooden since they used their power together it made a strong steel amazed they were crossing the across the bridge they noticed shortly up ahead their path was blocked by a hooded figure.

It was death! Death spoketo was angry that he had been cheated out of three new travelers usually drowned in the death was cunning. He pretended to congratulate the three brothers upon their magic and said that they each had earned for having been clever enogh to evede him.

So the oldest brother, woh was a combative man asked for a wand more powerful than any one in existance:a wand of a wealthy wizzard one who conqured death! So death crossed to an elder tree on the banks of the river and fishioned him a wand from a branch that hung there, and gave it to the eldest brother.

Then the second brother, who was an arrogent man, decided that he wanted to humiliate death still further, and asked for the power to recall others who have died from death him death picked up a stone from the river bank and gave it to the second brother. Death told him that the stone gave the power to bring back loved ones from the grave.

And then death asked the third and youngest brother Harry what he would like. The youngest brother was the humblest and most wisest of the brothers, and he did not trust death. So he asked for something that would enable him to go forth from the place without being followed by death. And death most un-willingly handed over his own invisibility cloak.

Then death stood aside and let the brothers continue on their way. Doing so talking of the adventure they just had while admiring deaths due the brothers seperated and went to their own destination.

The first brother traveled on for a or more, and reaching a distant sought out a fellow wizzard with whom he had a quarrel. Naturally, with the elder wand as his weapon he could not fail to win the duel that his enemy dead upon the floor, the oldest brother proceeded to an inn. To boast loudly of the wand he had snached from death, and how it made him invincible.

That night another wizzard crept upon the oldest brother as he lay, wine-sodden upon his theif took the wand and for good measures slit the oldest brothers throat.

And so death took the first brother for his own.

Mean while the second brother journeyed to his own home where he lived he took out the stone that had the power to recall the dead and turned it there in his his amazement and his delight, the figure of the girls he had once hoped to marry, before her untimely death appeared at once before him.

Yet she was sad, and cold. Seperated from him as by a she had returned to the mortal world, she did not truely belong there and th second brother driven mad with hopeless longing, killed himself as to truely join her.

And so death took the second brother as his own.

But death continued to search for the third brother for his own. For many years death was unable to find the third brother. I t was only when he had attaind great age that the youngest brother had taken off the invisibility cloak and gave it to his son. And then he greeted death as if he were an old went with death gladly, and as equals they departed this life.
