Remus smiled, carding his hands through that black silky soft hair, fingers tracing that perfectly curved nose, skimming the aristocratic face. The man whimpered, turning his head away slightly, trying to pull back, and struggling against the ropes that held his arms behind his back. Remus smiled a sad sort of smile, and slipped his hand onto the back of the other's neck, and pulled him into a kiss. Remus' fingers twirled the ends of the ribbons, playing with the knot that held the blindfold over the man's beautiful silver eyes. The man whimpered again, Remus pulled away from the kiss and dropped his head into the other's neck; tears stung his eyes as he struggled with his emotions, what to say and what not to say.

"Just for tonight, can we be together? Please, I need you!" Remus cried out, the tears falling freely as he clung to the other's shoulders, "You can pretend that I'm a girl, please, please Sirius!" Remus looked up, and saw a few tears trickling down the other's cheeks, the blindfold turning dark where the tears soaked it. Remus moved up and pressed his lips to the other's. The lips were so soft, and it only made Remus cry harder. Remus wanted the other to love him, to stay with him, be with him forever, but he didn't want the other to have to pretend or fake happiness or anything. Remus didn't know what to do. Hesitantly Sirius began to kiss back, hands resting on Remus' waist. That kiss, it was the type that should have led straight to getting on the bed, but was more or less the one thing that turned Remus so very off. He gasped, and jerked away, oh, it wasn't like he didn't like the kiss, the feel of his mouth being invaded by Sirius' tongue, oh no. Remus loved the feelings that he felt when he was being kissed and touched and caressed, but even though it felt so amazing, so wonderful, it was so wrong. He knew it was wrong, and that was what compelled him to pull away, to force himself past the magnetic pull, force himself to give up. Biting his lip, Remus reached up and slid his hand into Sirius' hair, Sirius leaned into the touch, Remus smiled sadly and gently tugged the knot, loosening it, letting the blindfold slip and slither sensually down Sirius' face. Sirius opened his eyes slowly, gazing at Remus, Remus blinked, and turned his face away, and standing as he silently left that room and didn't once look back. Standing in his empty bedroom in his empty apartment Remus slipped the blindfold on over his own eyes and fell to his knees on the floor, letting the tears slip unnoticed down his face. He clutched his shirtfront; it felt like his heart was clawing out of his chest. Curling onto his side on the dusty floor Remus cried like a child, weeping for his lost love, crying from the pain of a broken heart, sobbing his anger and sadness, the blindfold covering his eyes, shutting out the betraying sun, shutting out the grinning faces and laughing children, locking him in his world of darkness.
