1Zack was having an awesome day at school and it was Friday. He loved having good Fridays so he went home with a good feeling about everything and it helps him look on the bright side through the weekend.
Everything was going like the perfect day; all of his friends were especially excited because they're going to go to the rock concert tomorrow night. Zack was invited by his best friend, not related to him by blood, James, and confirmed he could go last night when he got permission from his mother.
The bell rang for sixth period to be over, and he continued to art class. He loved art class because it was always dirty drawing with charcoal. He was a good artist too, however painting was something he never grasped. The teacher always had confidence in him to do well, and he always succeeded.
The period was over and he almost didn't have time to wash his hands. But he made is out and was on his way to his locker. Zack walked happily, with an extra pep in his steps to the 100 hall. He gave a few kids high-fives and motioned for a girl down the hall to call him. His locker was within sight, and also in his sight, was Cody.
XXXXXXXXXX
An awful day it was for the younger twin. He made a 71 on his geometry quiz, which lowered his grade by .8 points. He now had a 97 and that was not acceptable. Plus, he got into trouble in history for reading when he was supposed to be reading and not paying enough attention to the rambling teacher. And to top things off, a lot of emo kids started sitting in his seat in lunch, forcing him to sit with the most annoying people at school. There was no longer a quiet place to read during lunch.
The rest of his day lingered for ever; he was living a year in a minute. Finally, it was over and he tripped twice on his way to the locker. Now as Cody at there, below his locker, he was sulking and upset.
"What's the matter?" he vaguely heard his brother's voice, but looked up. Zack saw how bad he felt.
"I feel so stupid!" he said, standing up slowly, "I forgot our locker combination."
Zack wanted to laugh but instead opened it slowly as his brother peered at the numbers the dial was twisted to. They put their belongings in, Cody grabbed his favorite novel, and they left down the hall.
Zack was busy talking to friends as they passed them, so Cody would have to wait to explain his horrible day.
Cody slammed the door on his way into the bedroom he shared with his twin. Zack was drawing in the bed and looked up. Cody looked frustrated and mad.
"Mom doesn't realize the importance of me almost failing a quiz and getting into trouble. I never do either of those things and it could follow me everywhere. It could be the start of change. BAD change."
Zack looked at his irate brother and shrugged. He looked down and continued drawing the jet. Cody took his pants off and tucked himself into bed. Zack would hopefully remember to set the alarm clock, because he was going to sleep now. Ready for the day to end, finally.
Morning had come and Carey was surprised at what she saw. Her twins usually lived the weekend based upon how good a day Friday was, today things were different. Cody had gotten up first as usual, and was hungry. He wasn't satisfies with the toast I made him so he began cooking in the kitchen.
Zack walked through the door about an hour later, still sleepy and tired. He walked to the table where Cody had placed a platter of french toast, syrup, and bacon. Zack began to eat as Cody sat down. Carey thanked Cody but refused breakfast, as she wanted to clean the kitchen before leaving.
Zack was in terrible mood, his appetite suffering as well. Cody however was happy and carefree. The exact opposites from the day before. Cody was aware of it, but Zack was too busy sulking to realize anything.
A few hours passed and Carey decided to leave the boys alone while she was gone. Cody promised everything would be fine, and Zack already said he'd be fine; he didn't have any energy to do anything.
A/N: Alright peoples: this is my new fic. I came up with this idea in a dream I had a few days ago. Finally, aftre sorting through all sorts of dilemmas and my boyfriend, I have sought time to write. Hopefully everyone will enjoy it. I'm actually planning to post my autobiography on here since I've had such an awkward life, but it would take months for me to finish it, so I'm holding off until I'm halfway through with it. Life is finally back to normal for me, so I might have to make a little more time to write by not traveling and hiring someone who could handle all of the crazy things I usually deal with.
