Run. It's all I could do. I was raised by two mighty beasts, yet all I'm good for is running. Faster. I could hear the pounding of feet chasing me with an occasional arrow flying past my face leaving another gash. Why?! I had gone hunting with papa when we heard it. It was the unmistakable sound of my mama's magic, the rumble of the earth with the crash of boulders hitting the trees. Papa looked furious. He picked me up in his claw and flew towards the cave we were staying in. The closer we got, the more i worried, I couldn't hear Mama's single heart, but many smaller rapid beating hearts. When we reached the clearing, I froze. Mama was on the ground blood rushing from her chest and neck. Papa let out a mournful roar shooting out a laser of thunder that burnt the area where it hit. I cried out seeing a sea of arrows fly towards him. It was too late, the arrows pierced his scales, forcing him to fall to the ground next to Mama. " P-papa?"

"Kira… r-run!" The people turned to look at me 'Get her!' one of them yelled. I sprinted from the sight of my dead parents, and from the onslaught of people trying to capture me. But I couldn't look back, no. I will keep going, and get stronger until I can hunt down the people who have taken away my parents.

I was around eight when that happened. I had managed to find a town by the name of Magnolia on the border of the forest. The people chasing me had run out of arrows and were now carrying blades of all sizes so I pushed myself to go faster, running into a building with a weird symbol on the top. There were many people inside that would hopefully help me. The group following me busted down the doors and raised their weapons to hack at me when a giant hand slammed down on them, forcing them to the floor.

"Why are you people attacking an innocent child!" A voice boomed from behind me. I slowly turned around to see a titan standing behind me. It was also his hand that had crushed the group.

"She's no child! She's a demon in disguise! Now let us go so we can kill it," one of them screamed, squirming around trying to break free but was effectively knocked out when the titans other fist shot down on top of his other hand. I smiled at the squashed forms that laid under the two hands, satisfied with their punishment for now. That smile was short-lived because I felt many pairs of eyes staring in curiosity at the fact that I was called a demon. Now to tell the tail of the dual-element dragon slayer.
