When I woke I had no clue where or who I was. It was the weirdest thing; it was snowing only it was warm. I looked down and found I was wearing a lanyard that said Legacy high school. Hanging down from it was an id and a picture of a boy. Who was that? I stood up and tried to walk. On the first step I flinched. "Stupid ankle!" I yelled. My voice echoed off the milky white cliffs. Whoa! Was that a castle up on the ridge? They could probably fix my ankle. Only one problem, I had a broken ankle. Just then, there was a small poof behind me. I turned around and found a pair of crutches. I picked them up and started off toward the castle. The weather seemed to get colder the closer I got to the castle. The wind started to blow too soon. Then the snow started. It poured down in barrels. Still it was strange, I wasn't cold at all. By the time I reached the castle it was a blizzard, the two guards pulled me inside and to the throne room. I bowed in front of the king. "Why hello, Liza!" he exclaimed, obviously startled. "Hello?" I replied. The man looked vaglay familiar. "What's the last thing you remember?" He asked, pacing around the throne room. "Waking up here with a broken ankle." I replied uncomfortably. "Do you know who your father is?"He asked. "Well," I said, "as I told you before I woke up here with a broken ankle and no memory." "Very well then. Let me tell you about yourself." He replied sternly, "first, I'm your father. Second, you were born in Roma, Italia. Your mother and I brought you to Colorado to protect you from my sister. You have two brothers, two sisters, and another brother on the way." "Hold on, who's my mother. And how can you be my father. You're a ghost!" I felt my anger rising. I muttered something that must have been pretty mean because my father frowned. "We really do need to get your memory back. DO NOT EVER SAY THAT TO ME AGAIN!" He scolded. "Auger get your butt in here, NOW!" Pelegroneś shouted. A teenage boy strolled in the room. When he passed me he winked. The king scowled. "Yes, sir?" he asked. "Tell Liza what she must do to regain her memory." The auger spoke,"You must run through the mountains and find the cave of the dragons. Steal two eggs from the queen and DO NOT get sucked into their spell. Make it back here alive by November 31 and you will regain your memory." Wow," I replied sarcastically," Super easy!" "Definitely." The auger agreed," At least you don't have to walk through fire like the last guy." For the next few minutes I stood uncomfortably while the auger had a conversation with "father". I heard a bunch of but father, and son pleases but did not say anything. I wondered if he was one of my brothers. Finally the auger left. I was surprised when I heard my father sigh. "Two of your siblings must go with you on the journey. Your brother-er, I mean the auger went to get all of them. You may only choose two to accompany you on the journey, through." When the auger retuned he was followed by a younger boy, girl who was my age, and a younger girl. They formed a line and the king told me to choose two people. I chose the auger and the girl. The auger led the younger kids out of the room. When he got back I had learned that the girl was my sister and the auger was my brother. I am Liza Aldo. I was 16. My sister's name was Bambi and my brother's was Octavian. We asked our dad what we would need for the trip, he said anything you want. "Bambi you know where the magic items are right?" he asked. "Yes, father." She replied. She must have lived here pretty long because I still didn't feel comfortable calling this guy father. Bambi led us down a hallway and into a room. The room was dark and musty. There were tons of weapons and boxes marked this side up ↑ . Bambi collected the items would need, explaining each and every one to me.
