This came into my head as I read a story by a fellow author. I have enough stories at the moment, so this will be a one-shot, however, if enough people want me to continue, I might consider more chapters at a later date.
I sat on the bed in my room. Though I couldn't exactly call it my room. It wasn't in my home, it wasn't near my brothers or my father. It wasn't even in the sewers.
It was room 184 in Foot Headquarters.
I looked like a new person, or turtle as it would be. My mask had been taken away, thrown at my brothers on the day I was forced to switch sides. Now on my face was a black mask, the foot symbol clearly on the side in red. My wrappings had been swapped for pure white ones, matching the bandages from my recent training sessions. My brown knee and elbow pads and belt had been switched for jet black copies. Everything I owned had been tainted with the logo of the Foot. Even myself as a person. They had placed a chip in my arm, a GPS of some sort. It was the only thing keeping me here. If I left, they would find me. If I ran back to my family, they would find us.
A knock echoed from my door before it was opened.
"Kame, training in five minutes." The ninja stated before closing the door.
That was a nothing thing, my name-gone. Now I was just turtle. My life truly had been left behind that night on the roof.
~Help Me~
I ran across the rooftops, my brothers around me. A simple patrol, as we did every night. It wasn't even halfway into the night before they attacked. Ninjas from all ways, more and more every minute. Once I had finally beaten my share I looked around frantically for my brothers. I saw them. All three of them were on their knees, a blade at their neck. My eyes widened.
"Quite a predicament they're in."
I turned around. My eyes narrowed. "Karai."
"You can save them you know." She stated. "If you join the foot, they will be spared." I could understand the other option all too well.
"Why do you need me?" I questioned.
"Ever heard the statement, 'Cut off the head and the beast will die'? You are the head of the group." She said. "Besides, you don't have much choice."
I looked from her, to my brothers, back to her. I bowed my head, eyes closed. "I accept."
"What? Bro, you can't!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Let them go." Karai ordered. The ninjas immediately took a few steps backwards, letting my brothers get up.
"Go." I ordered.
"What?" Raph questioned. "We're not goin' without-"
"GO!" I shouted.
Just before my brothers ran off, Karai grabbed my mask and threw it at them. Donnie picked it up, tears in his eyes, before they left.
~Help Me~
So that was how I ended up here, sat in the headquarters of the enemy. I haven't seen my brothers since that night a few weeks before. I was probably for the best, they wouldn't want anything to do with me-not now.
My name is Hamato Leonardo.
Help me.
