A/N: I thought of this one shot at work today, but could write it till now. I want to base it around a quote from one of my all time favorite movies "Peter Pan". I hope you all enjoy

"But how long will you be gone" Tara asks as she watches her maker pack a small pink Louis Vuitton over night bag.

"2 nights Tara, that's all" Pam answers while continuing to pack.

"From the looks of what you are trying to stuff in that small bag, you'll be gone for a week" Tara says as she flops on their king size bed crossing her legs.

Pam stops in her tracks, places her hand on her hips, looks at her bag then back up at Tara. "Well" she begins "One can never be too cautious" her southern drawl heavy with sarcasm.

"umm hmm" Tara replied with sarcasm of her own

Pam shifts her weight on one leg and stares at Tara for a moment before walking toward her. "You need to stop pouting" Pam laughed as bopped Tara on the nose with her finger.

Tara batted Pam's hand away from her face "Well, you need to stop acting like its not a big deal that you're leaving me"

Pam starts to chuckle at Tara's over exaggerated statement.

"Well I am so happy you find this amusing" Tara sneered as she starts to get up and leave the room.

Pam grabs Tara's wrist before she can reach the door and pulls her into her arms. "You are really starting to sound like a child"

"Am not" Tara pouts sticking out her bottom lip.

A small smile plays at the corner of Pam mouth. She leans in and places a small kiss on Tara's pouting lips. "I'm not going to be gone forever" Pam whispers placing her cheek against Tara's " I'll come back to you"

"Promise" Tara softly replies

"Cross my heart" Pam whispers against Tara's ear.

Tara lets a smile cross her face as she tightens her grip on Pam's waste. Pulling back Tara leans up and kisses Pam on the lips " Okay I yield" She starts after pulling back "Just don't stay gone to long"

Pam rolls her eyes and scoffs "Baby Vamps".

Tara is the first to break the embrace.

"I'll leave you to your packing" Tara says glancing over Pam's shoulder to her over stuffed bag. She starts walking toward the door when Pam slaps her on the ass. "I'll make it up to you when I get back" Pam says with a wink.

"Oh, I know you will" Tara assures her while walking out of the room.

Pam had been gone for all of 2 hours accompanying Eric to a meeting in Dallas when Tara sends her a text.

"I miss you" -T

"Tara I've been gone for 2 hours" -P

...

"But I miss you too" -P

"3 Good. Text me when you get there" -T

"ugh, you know I will" -P

...

"Pam, I love you" -T

...

"I love you too Tara, I left something under your pillow, don't open it until you go to bed" -P

Tara stares at her phone screen at Pam's text. A huge smile across her face. For the first time in a very long time Tara feels complete and loved.

"Okay, I won't ttyl"-T

Pam slides her phone into her purse and gives a sigh of relief.

"You've got it bad" Eric chimed

Pam gives Eric a sidewards glance "Don't fucking remind me" Pam smiled returning her attention back to the road.

Tara slides into bed and brings Pam pillow to her face inhaling her remarkable scent of lavender and honeysuckle. When she remembers Pam's surprise under her own pillow. It was a simple piece of paper with Pam elegant hand writing endorsed on it. She opens it to find:

~"You know that place between sleep and awake,

the place where you can still remember dreaming?

That's where I'll always love you. That's where I'll be waiting."~

Tara folded the paper and pressed it against the spot above her heart, closed her eyes and hoped for dreams to come, so she could find her Pam waiting for her.
