It was a normal Friday night at the cave-the team (minus Robin who was
doing dynamic duo duties in Gotham) was gathered around the television
watching a movie when Wally asked a bemusing question.

"Where did Robin get his cackle from?" The team stared at KF while he
elaborated on his question. "I mean, it's not like he learned that
cackle from Bats-when have we ever seen him laugh? Or even smile?"
Wally had a good point, no one knew where Robin had learned to laugh
like that...and now the team was curious. Completely ignoring the
movie in the background, they began to go over plausible places where
he could have learned it.

"Perhaps Robin learned that laugh from Agent A." Kaldur suggested, for
they had meet Agent A a month ago by accident after a long mission.

"No, not him. He's to...British and proper to cackle." Artemis said
without a doubt.

"So he didn't learn it from anyone in the Batfamily." Wally stated.
The team stared at him with confusion. "What? It makes sense, the Bat
and his family...Batfamily..." He stopped trying to explain the
concept after seeing their blank expressions.

"Maybe he learned it from one of Gotham's villains? They all seem to
have an eerie laugh." M'gan said.

"The Joker had a creepy laugh." Superboy contributed. They thought
about it for a minute then one by one they started nodding.
"It would make sense..." M'gan said.

"And he has heard it a lot..." Artemis continued.

"Not to mention he was young when they first met and children are
greatly influenced by those they interact with..." Aqualad stated.
"Recognized: Robin B:02" the computer intoned.

"Let's just ask Robin." Wally said, then Robin walked into the room.
"Hey Rob! Where did you learn that cackle you do when you disappear?
Did you learn it from the Joker?"

Robin burst out laughing (the normal kind) and shook his head. "Are
you crazy Kid Idiot?" Wally pouted at that statement. "Why would I
have learned to laugh like that from the Joker?"

"We just assumed since you were in Gotham as a child hearing psychotic
laughter, you would have learned it from those experiences." Kaldur
explained.

Robin continued to laugh. "I would never learn it from there. Isn't it
obvious where I learned it from?"

"No!" His teammates answered.

"Well, I learned that laugh from Batman."
His teammates were astonished and Robin cackled.
