The day had finally come. The day everything would come to an end.

"Mama I'm scared..."

My mother looked at me, her face saddened and stressful. She went over to me and picked me up and kissed me on my forehead.

"Amaterasu, listen to me...Whatever you do stay in here and don't come out till I get you."

She raised me up onto a shelf and hugged me. The sirens started to go off, my mother looked at me as a tear rolled down her cheek and shut the door and locked it. My mother went downstairs to father and grabbed their weapons and ran outside to the crowd of other people ready for the attack. The demons have emerged from the darkness and started towards the people. Some of the demons going into houses, then two into mine...The fighting started with a sound of a gunshot, demons were all over us in different forms. I started to tremble in the closet and grabbed onto my stuffed lion tightly. I heard voices in the house and I stopped breathing and was stuck there.

"Jane, we're supposed to search these houses not try and well.. Yeah haha."

"awe Koga, you're really cute you know that? Dating the hottest demon, it's kind of hard to resist..."

I peered out through the closet shades at them; he smirked at her and put his hands around her waist. He kissed her and held onto her tighter.

"You know this is my first time..."

"Same here, we better not wait then..."

I sat back and covered my eyes, but then my foot slipped out from under me and banged the door which made a thud sound. They both looked at the door fiercely and started walking over to me. Koga tried to open the door then realized it was locked and burst open the door, his claws at the ready but then stopped. I looked at him my eyes wide and my whole body shaking. He looked back at me staring, Jane wrapped her arms around Koga and looked at me.

"Nasty human girl, go on and kill her Koga baby."

"I would but, She's only a child and-"

"And what? She's still a human! Kill her now!"

He looked at her then at me and closed the door and started walking away, taking Jane with him.

"Koga! You are one of the best killers and you can't even kill her!"

"Jane! You don't understand, I've never had to kill a child just leave it alone!"

"No!"

She started back towards the room, but then Koga grabbed her by the throat and started to growl.

"Leave her alone, or I swear I'll kill you..."

He let go of her and started walking away. She fell to the ground and coughed a bit. She finally got up and walked out the house; she saw Koga and turned the other way.

"By the way, it's over... I don't need a demon prince with a soft side."

She then walked away, and Koga stood there with anger all over his face. As the fighting went on through the night..

Hours past and the fight had finally ended. Bodies littered the streets as the blood soaked in to them. I pushed open the door a little and looked at the window to the horrific sight. I closed the door fast and put my head in my knees. Then i heard footsteps again and started to cry softly. The person opened the door and grabbed me and that's when I started to yell. I looked up at the person and to my surprise it was my mom.

"mama?..."

"Ama..."

We both cried and held onto each other. I looked back at her and tapped her a little.

"mama, where's father?"

She looked at me, her eyes red, but she kept silent. She then spoke.

"They took him..."

"no...father..."

We both cried again, as other cries were heard in our neighborhood. Although many people have been lost, we made it through the war.
