We were sitting on the beach in La Push. Jacob kept me close in his arms while we watched the waves roll over the shore.
I loved afternoons like this, just the two of us, relaxing together in the sand. It was so peaceful, so quiet.
I looked up at Jacob, he was staring out at the water, his deep brown eyes catching the light just right to make them shine bright.
I nuzzled closer to him, feeling perfectly content in his arms. Ever since he told me about the imprint I have been seeing him differently.
More then just a friend or a brother.
More then a protector, just more. I can't explain it. But I love it no less.
I wanted to stay with him forever. I closed my eyes and listened to the quiet waves hitting the shore, I loved being with Jacob.
