If you didn't read the summary, I'll tell you that this is a series of short loop poems I wrote about the Sonic games.
Loop poems are four-line poems where the last word of a line becomes the first word of the next line. The rhyme scheme is abcb. There are a few variations to this type of poetry.
Sonic
I once knew a hedgehog who loved running,
Running was, to him, something special.
Special enough for him to do it every day,
Day after day, he ran, with a speed that's especial.
Amy
Sonic, my love, is simply divine.
Divine enough that I know that when,
When I seduce him, I know we'll be together.
Together time and time again.
Tails
A prodigy inventor who's awesome at piloting,
Piloting through tame and dangerous terrain.
Terrain that he's crossed both efficiently and fast.
Fast and efficiently enough to drive Eggman insane.
Knuckles
Look out! Gullible echidna coming through!
Through the levels, through the fields, and through doors!
Doors that remain open and doors that slam shut, all depending,
Depending on whom he believes and whom he ignores.
Wow, those were short poems!
If I get enough reviews, I'm going to change this story's status from Complete to In-Progress, and make a one of the longer variations of a loop poem.
