It was Drew's 16 birthday and everything was going great until it came to opening the presents. Drew didn't want to open any and have something that was for his fake identity. He was a boy but only if everyone else saw that. His parents never accepted the fact that they don't get to have the perfect princess that they had given birth to. He just wanted to have one day where he was a boy. The only person that made him happy was his girlfriend, Dusk. She meant the world to him and he could never live without her. The only thing that Drew really wanted for his birthday was to be with dusk still. The first present that he opened was a cup with a pink 16 on the front. This didn't make him happy at all but he put a fake smile on his face and pretend that he loved it. Next was a blue pen from his younger brother. It may have been something small but it showed that even his sibling was accepting the fact that they didn't have an older sister anymore. The best present that Drew got was just seeing Dusk for 10 minutes.
On the bus, all Drew could think about was seeing Dusk again. Why, just why did she have to live so far away from him. That was the only problem about being in this relationship, they lived so far apart that they couldn't see each other so often like they would want to. Finally, it came to the stop where Drew could get off of the bus and go and meet Dusk. He couldn't wait to see the baby blue eyes that he always dreams of because she is so beautiful.
