A/N: Fanfics will be delayed for a while. I just haven't been in the mood to write fics lately and I'm preparing to start school in January. This kind of short. I'm really sorry. I'll try to write a longer one later but just small fluff.

It was Christmas morning. Joanne had off work so she happy at the fact she was able to awake up next to Maureen. Actually, she had off until after New Years. She smiled at her sleeping girlfriend, placing a kiss on her neck, loving how adorable Maureen looked when she was asleep.
"Merry Christmas, honeybear." She whispered in her ear, hearing a groan escape her lover's lips. "Wake up so we can go open presents." She said, slipping out of bed. She grabbed her robe and put it on, tying the belt around her waist.
She watched as Maureen began to wake up, a smirk escaping her lips as she went into the living room, retrieving Maureen's present before turning on Christmas music, making sure it was warm in the apartment.
She stood in the entryway of the kitchen, right under the mistletoe, which the drama queen practically demanded be hung there. She'd get up and stand there purposely just so she'd be kissed if the lawyer were walking around. She opened the velvet box to look at the diamond ring, smiling a bit, thinking it was time.
It had been two years since they had started dating. One engagement had come and gone rather quickly but they were somehow still together and nothing made her happier. She wanted to make it official, take the next step forward.
"Hmm… it's to early…" A sleepy Maureen mumbled, walking down the hall, her hair a mess and her cold fingers rubbing at her eyes. It usually took a long time to wake up but seeing the tree and the presents, she was instantly awakened. "Joanne! Let's open them!" She stated rather vocally, grinning like a child.
Joanne cleared her throat. "This one first." She said with a small smile.
Maureen looked over to where she was, her eyes going wide when she saw her girlfriend down on one knee under the mistletoe, a black velvet box being held out.
"Oh pookie." She whispered, walking towards her. She slowly took the box and opened it, gasping at the ring, her eyes averting up to the woman she loved.
"Maureen, will you marry me?" Joanne asked, curiously, her dark orbs filled with love for the woman in front of her along with hope; hope that she would say yes.
Maureen handed the ring box back to her, holding her hand out. "Yes." She replied, grinning wide.
Hearing her answer, she took the ring from the box and placed it on Maureen's finger before standing with her help. "I love you so much." She whispered, pulling her into a kiss before anymore words could be exchanged.
"I love you too." Maureen whispered, tears in her eyes as she wrapped her arms around Joanne. "Merry Christmas, baby." She added, not wanting to let go of her.
"Merry Christmas, my beautiful fiancé."
The two opened the rest of their presents, the most exciting being the ring that was on Maureen's finger. The brunette accepting the proposal was all the present Joanne needed, though, Maureen did promise to give her a little present when they got home from the Boho's place, nothing could go wrong with that.
-Fin.
[[Okayyy… I don't know if this has been done before or not. The idea sounds familiar. Hmm but it's like almost three AM. Again, sorry that fics have been non-existent. I'll try to update with one as soon as possible.
