~Nothing you confess could make me love you less.~
~The Pretenders~

He used to wake up all nights, screaming and crying, and she was the one that was there to comfort him. She would whisper soft words into his ear and stroke his golden hair until he fell back asleep again. She was the one there for him all the times, even when he didn't want her there.

He used to claim that he wasn't good enough for her, that she should dump him and get a muggle boyfriend that would love her the right way, but she would just roll her eyes and hug him very hard, until he started responding. She made him forget all his fears and all his problems. He made her feel loved and safe.

At the beginning it was kind of hard for the both of them, he just couldn't show his emotions and she couldn't relax next to him. But they tried to work it out, because they knew they belonged together. They would stay up all night, sometimes just relaxing and laughing and other times arguing and bothering each other. They communicated pretty well, except for one thing: He couldn't talk about waht he did on the War before passing to the right side. Nothing, not one word. But she didn't really care, because she knew that he'd tell her when he got ready.

One night she wake up, and found him looking at her, staring into her brown eyes, and she felt it. This was the moment.

"I don't know Mione, what if you don't love me anymore after I tell you that?" His expression was tortured, like if the only thought of her doing that made him suffer.

She looked at him, stood up from the bed, went to the radio and put a song. He knew it, it was I'll Stand By You. He listened to it, all the while looking at her, the woman that loved him more than anything in this world, the one that was always there for him, the one that made him laugh, the one that made him truly happy. And so he told here. He told here absolutely everything and amazingly, she didn't look surprised or shocked, she didn't insult him or told him that he was a monster, she just held him in her arms and let him talk and cry all night. When he finished, she just hugged him and whispered into his ear "No matter what Draco, I'll stand by you" and he knew that she meant it.
