A/N: There was something about the first words in Bleach that caught my attention. I'll admit, it was them that made me first watch Bleach (which I do not own). I hope I do them justice. Don't forget to leave a review on your way out!
Black Dawn
Third Person POV
Ichigo watched as the Captains battled Aizen, the amounts of reiatsu flying through the air smothering, pushing him down while his inner hollow attempted to climb back out. They fought with amazing intuit, seeming to know exactly what the others would do and combining their attacks with ease despite the fact that they had only just met.
Ichigo knew he was outclassed, how was he to defeat Aizen when the most powerful group of people on the planet were struggling? The good news was that Aizen appeared to be struggling too, maybe they would be able to land a lucky hit and defeat him before he used Kyoka Suigetsu.
That never happened.
Ichigo nearly screamed when he saw Hiyori fall from the sky, a hole blasted through her side. Hirako caught her just before she hit the ground, you could see it in his eyes, the horror. Ichigo found himself sharing it.
Aizen, however, just looked at Hirako, "Do you hate me, Hirako Shinji?" Hirako gritted his teeth and Aizen smiled, "Then come and kill me."

We have no form, and therefore we fear it

Ichigo's eyes widened in horror when he saw Aizen switch places with Hinamori, he knew that the fighting group of Shinigami- the group that had been growing smaller and smaller- couldn't see the difference because of Kyoka Suigetsu.
He needed to warn them, but he couldn't find the words.
All the Captains combined their efforts into one attack, Hitsugaya freezing Aizen's sword arm in place while Soi Feng used the two-hit technique to distract Aizen while Kyoraku melted out of Aizen's shadow and slashed him, distracting him while Hitsugaya flew in. Aizen tried to block, but Shinjii used his reversal technique. Hitsugaya plunged his sword through Aizen's chest.
Only it wasn't Aizen.

And because we are formless, we revere it
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Aizen looked at the Captains as they fell from the sky, blood pouring from their wounds. They hit the ground, which was already littered with the bodies of those who had fallen before them. Ichigo heard the sound of shattering ice and bone, and his eyes widened in horror.
Aizen smiled at them as if they were a group of particularly silly children and smiled, "I am aware beings of your power will not be killed by such wounds. You are to watch while I kill your commander and rise to godhood."
The horror on the faces of those who had fallen was enough to let anyone watching know they would rather be dead than have to do that.
And still, Ichigo watched as everyone who could possibly fight Aizen was cut down, still unable to find an opening. Finally he had no choice, he lifted his sword and charged at the self-proclaimed God. His hollow rose to the challenge and he let out a battlecry.

And thus, we are slain.

The world went black.
