Every Storm Runs Out of Rain
A certain white haired teen sat on the cobblestone of a empty corner of a street. He had his head down, covering the view of his face from the girl who watched him.
Rain fell from the skies, just like the water that ran down his face. His heart was just shattered into pieces by his two best friends.
Allen looked up into violet eyes, as the water stopped falling on him. "Your gonna catch a cold, Allen."
He looked away from her. "Maybe that'll be a good thing..." He didn't care that his enemy was seeing his weak side or that she could attack him right now.
"I...I saw what happened." Road said sitting down next to him, as the umbrella covered them from the cold rain. "I'm sorry..."
Allen couldn't tell why she was sorry. She wasn't the one that had rejected him. "You shouldn't be sorry."
She shook her head and looked up at the rain filled gloomy sky. "If only you had fell for me, instead of her. Then your heart wouldn't be hurting and it would be filled with happiness."
"Road..." Sliver eyes looked over at her in curiosity and shock. As he watched tears falling down her eyes, he then realized that all those times that she had seemed to tease him was her true feelings.
"It's true I love you, Allen."
He didn't know how to respond. Allen had just been rejected and now he was being confessed to, by his enemy. He knew that his crush would never love him and he was happy that she already had someone who liked her back.
Maybe he could move on with this confession. Even if he didn't return her feelings, he could learn to love her back slowly. And maybe this heartbreak would disappear with time.
"Road...I'm sorry but I can't return your feelings. But I want to at least forget about this heartbreak. And maybe love someone who loves me back. So maybe can we met up somewhere this weekend." Allen said shyly.
Road's face lit up some and she smiled. "I would love to, Allen." One of the reasons she had fell for him was cause he was such a gentlemen. "So it's a date! See you later, Allen!" She waved back and started to skip down the empty street with her umbrella, in a happy manner.
Allen waved bye to her as the rain let up some and the sunlight started to find it's way around the clouds. His heavy heart now felt lighter and somehow he couldn't wait till their date.
Like how every storm runs out of rain. Maybe this heartache and tears will disappear with time.
A/N: I hoped you enjoyed! Sorry it was so short. My inspiration for this was the song 'Every Storm Runs Out of Rain' By Gary Allan. At first I was gonna make this a song fic but it just wouldn't work. I had hard time getting their personalities down but I hoped you still liked it. Really I just wanted to write another Allen x Road oneshot. Since I only have just one right now. And I have two many Lavi x Lenalee oneshots as it is. I'm feeling really sick again so please no flames. Anyway have a great day! Read and Review Please!
